Instead of campaigning today, my family and I decided to do something about the trash on Water Street and Gladhill. Our adventure started at noon and we finally finished up at 6:00 PM.
I can’t believe how much trash was on Gladhill road. It was quite disturbing to find everything from beer and liquor bottles to diapers. We literally filled about 7 or 8 trash bags of trash on Gladhill road alone. More trash was on the road in the time it took us to go back to the house to get the truck to pick up the full trash bags. Literally, in about 30 minutes people had thrown empty soda bottles and such right where we had just cleaned it up.
It makes me wonder if we need something more in the form of littering rules. I am astounded by the lack
