Summer was coming closer and I knew that meant World of Outlaws Late models in Shawano. My dad and I go every year and this was our 5th year going. I was excited because my favorite driver was leading in points and, had 9 wins. Once we got to the track I could see his hauler near the front because he gets first choice at his spot he was next to Chase Junghans and Brandon Overton. We watched everyone work on their cars, Mason Zeigler showed up and so did Earl Pearson Jr. My dad and I were getting ready to leave and we were going to get Taco Bell. When we finished we got on the road again we saw haulers on the way, one of them was Nick Anvelink which was weird because he’s from Shawano. We got there early so we got good seats. We were watching in the pits at the racers setting up their cars and I saw Shane Clantons pit crew setting up his car but he wasn’t there. We sat down and watched them see what the conditions of the track were. Shane pulled out and did pretty good but some were better. The best time was by Brandon Overton around 12 Sec. The actual heats started and Shane won his heat. All of the heats were pretty good Brandon Overton also won his heat. Then the other heats started the mods, 4 cylinders, street stocks, sport mods and stock cars. Once the heats were over it was intermission and we got some food before the features.
The late model feature finally came around and Shane was on the outside first row and Brandon Overton got on the inside, but luckily Brandon got a flat and had to go to the back. So Shane had the lead and it was now Earl Pearson jr. on the inside, they were having a great battle for first and Shane came out on top. So we left right after and got to shake his
