Centering Prayer is a form of self-care. This paper will discuss literature on the topic of Centering Prayer and explore two studies on the effectiveness of Centering Prayer in relieving stress. This information will be applied to preventing empathy fatigue in counselors. Research shows that counselors suffer empathy fatigue (Stebnicki, 2007). This condition “results from a state of emotional, mental, physical, and occupational exhaustion that occurs as the counselors’ own wounds are continually revisited by their clients’ life stories of chronic illness, disability, trauma, grief and loss” (Stebnicki, 2007, p. 318). This was achieved by conducting a brand audit of two existing and competing pressed juice bars who service in the area, namely; Pressed Juices and Finn Cold Press. This Brand Audit was performed by means of a physical visit to the Pressed Juice store, Hawthorn and collection of numerous secondary sources of data including online articles for research and analysis of the brand impact on consumers. Both these brands have a unique selling proposition of selling cold pressed juices, a trendsetter in the United States already, and recently in the Australian consumers’ hearts and minds. Pressed Juices have the leading edge of being the first ones to open in Melbourne whereas Finn Cold Press is the niche player when it comes to hand-crafted, naturopathically designed range of juices. Pressed Juices’ stores have incorporated its brand values of creating fresh cold pressed juices on a daily basis through its consistent branding practices seen in their 10 store designs across Victoria and New South Wales, brand elements and campaigns leading towards greater brand congruency. ...EXECUTIVE SUMMARY This Report will detail my concept of how to create the ideal HR department for the ______________________as it pertains to the specific and unique needs of ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬-_________________, and how to make __________________ “great place to work.” HR Competencies Given that the nature of the work performed by ¬_________________ is independent and not collaborative in nature, it is well-suited to teleworking. When questions do arise or input is requested, it is done through email. It is not necessary that any of that work be conducted in the physical office of _______________________. Telecommuting and virtual offices benefit the company and the employee. As Pomeroy (2007) pointed out, companies can waste enormous amounts of financial resources on “unused space.” When employees are not sitting at their desks, that empty space is dead and expensive real estate. While every employee in ¬_________________ had their own desk, desktop computer, office space and land-line phone, only 3-5 were in the office on any give work day. -_________________, paid rent on the building, bought office furniture, paid utilities, purchased desktop computers, and incurred many other overhead expenses assuming everyone would be using the space on the daily basis. It would have been far cheaper to rent less office space to house support staff, have available “day use” offices for employees to use on those occasions when they wanted to work in the office and conference...

The market for organic skin care products is expected to grow at a rate of 9.9% from 2012 to 2018” (PR Newswire, 2013, para. 3). 2) Natural and organic skin care products have a wide product appeal both in the US and overseas. ...term ‘CC’, focusing instead on the knowledge, skills and attributes that appear to be its antecedents. In this conceptual study, we propose a definition of CC as it applies to international business and develop a model for understanding how CC is nurtured in individuals, linking our definition to the concept of cultural intelligence. We discuss the components of the model and suggest that there are environmental and contextual impediments to the effective application of the requisite skills, knowledge and attributes that have been identified as necessary for CC, resulting in a gap between ‘knowing’ and ‘doing’. We conclude by discussing the implications of the model for practitioners, and by suggesting appropriate directions for further research.
