Peter’s mother presented him to their local emergency department. At the emergency department, Peter was assessed by a clinical social worker. His personal hygiene had been deteriorating and his teeth were discolored and falling out. The mother stated, “Peter was not answering his phone, or leaving his apartment and refused to let me into his apartment for at least a week.
