...The purpose of education is to enlighten young minds and make them enjoy school. I believe that every child should be taught in a way that makes them want to come back to school each day and want to learn many different and new things. Since not every child learns the same way, I would like to be able to use group work, individual assignments and projects. The different way a child can learn will also impact how my classroom is run. I plan to put students who learn alike in the same group of where I seat my students. If all the visual learners are in the same group, they could help each other by showing them how to do something if they do not quite get it. The audible learners would spend more time listening than talking, and they could get their work done in a better environment for them. The kinesthetic learners would have more hands on projects and assignments for them to literally grasp the concept of how to do the lesson that is being taught. I believe that the normal subjects should be taught in schools as well as a few other life establishing things. Subjects such as child psychology, and ways for them to understand the feelings of others should be included into the curriculum. If a child can understand what it means to be nice and what the consequences of not being nice can do to them, they could be better-rounded in adulthood.
