Introduction
Jones Enterprises, established in 2002, is a small manufacturing company located in Dallas, Texas, and also manufactures the widget, WooWoo. Success through teamwork is our business motto and it embodies the culture of Jones Enterprises. Over the years WooWoo, has become a success and it’s all because of you, the employee. We are thankful to you and the effort you’ve made to ensure WooWoo becomes a household name. To continue with the success we’re experiencing with WooWoo, it is imperative that make some adjustments. Per our recent consumer surveys, we were made aware that some defective widgets were put out on the market. As a result, deliveries are being delayed and costs to replace the defective widgets have increased. This comes as a surprise to management because in previous years returns were less than one percent. After compiling the data from the consumer surveys, we decided to give you, the employee, a survey on your job performance, management, and work environment. We also asked you to give any suggestions on how we can improve. The results of the employee surveys have been calculated. Per the survey, many of you stated that you were getting bored with your daily tasks.
After weeks of deliberation, we’ve put together an organization motivational plan that will be given to each team member. The motivational plans main focus is team work, which we believe that through teamwork, we can achieve more and continue to provide to our consumers, a state of the art WooWoo. Over the next six weeks, we are expecting the motivational plan to improve in the following areas: high job satisfaction, low turnover, high productivity, and high-quality work.
