Being involved in Honors Program, I had a chance to take some classes that are not available for everyone. Studying in smaller groups and going deeper in the subjects, I felt special. I really enjoyed such classes as Calculus for Business (HON) and Becoming a Global Manager (HON) that totally related to my Business major. I feel really honored to have had such a great chance of taking those classes. It was also great because the professors focused on each student in particular, which gave an opportunity to grasp every aspect, every detail of the classes. Now, I feel confident about my ability to communicate with different people (especially with those who are more talented or more intelligent in some way). I am definitely able to develop a way more various topics and support almost any discussion. That is how Honors Program has helped me so far. It gave me some motivation to strive to higher levels of both education and everyday life. Being surrounded by the Honors students, I feel that I want to belong to this society, to feel that I am not worse or weaker in any field, any area of studies. Today, I think I know what ambitions and what friends I should have. What I have noticed is that students are obsessed with their GPA height and willingness to be one of the best according to their exam results’ percentages. I personally do not think that exam results are the best way to reflect students’ knowledge; especially, when a final grade is made out not from just quizzes and a final exam but from various presentations and group projects. What I am trying to say is that someone is good at promoting and presenting stuff - for someone, it is easier to have their writing exam in front of them and that is it. Thus, what I was trying to reach was to gain as much knowledge as possible. My grades are not as important for me as they are for the majority of
