...In-Plant Training Report 2nd Semester (BCCT) Brandix College in clothing Technology and Management(dip 16) K.A. Vidun S. Piyasumana 2 INTRODUCTION I’m a student of Brandix College who is studying College Diploma in Textile Technology & Management where my name is K.A.Vidun S. Piyasumana. This is the Report of my second semester of my In-Plant Training program. This In-Plant training will let the diploma batch students to join to different Factories and study the whole process. Since the students are beginners to the field, BCCT provided us a guide line to adjust to this environment and continue that studying with the aid of a Guide Line. As I requested some Factories and as the College appointed me, I had to start my InPlant Training in Brandix Green Plant Seeduwa. Commencing on 14th February 2013 I started the Industrial Training for the College Diploma in Clothing Technology & Management Course under the influence and Coordination by Mr. Dinesh Sampath (HR Assistant of Brandix Casualwear Seeduwa) with so many supports & advisers. Initially after walking throughout the factory, I was introduced and guided to each section to study their process, and collect information under the influence of the department chief or Incharge and also from the Minor Staff. Most of the time I had to subject myself for self study, grab the knowledge by walking to the machine Operators and the staff and also be practical in some operations to get the real idea. So therefore...

...BANKING IN INDIA Banking in India originated in the first decade of 18th century. The first banks were, The General Bank of India, which started in 1786, and Bank of Hindustan, both of which are now defunct. The oldest bank in existence in India is the State Bank of India, which originated in the "The Bank of Bengal" in Calcutta in June 1806. This was one of the three presidency banks, the other two being the Bank of Bombay and the Bank of Madras. The presidency banks were established under charters from the British East India Company. They merged in 1925 to form the Imperial Bank of India, which, upon India's independence, became the State Bank of India. For many years the Presidency banks acted as quasi-central banks, as did their successors. The Reserve Bank of India formally took on the responsibility of regulating the Indian banking sector from 1935. After India's independence in 1947, the Reserve Bank was nationalized and given broader powers. Early history The first fully Indian owned bank was the Allahabad Bank, established in 1865. However, at the end of late-18th century, there were hardly any banks in India in the modern sense of the term. The American Civil War stopped the supply of cotton to Lancashire from the Confederate States. Promoters opened banks to finance trading in Indian cotton. With large exposure to speculative ventures, most of the banks opened in India during that period failed. The depositors lost money and lost interest in keeping deposits...

...Adviesrapport 3 jaars-stage Red Bull e pagina 1 Adviesrapport Red Bull Sport Usage Naam: Studentnummer: Mailadres: Niels Schouten 193255 niels.schouten@hva.nl Afgedrukt 20 januari 2009 Red Bull Adviesrapport 3 jaars-stage Red Bull e pagina 2 Voorwoord Dit adviesrapport is bedoeld voor Red Bull Nederland afdeling Sport Usage.

...MEG CABOT Pants on Fire One “Oh my God, what’s she doing here?” my best friend, Sidney van der Hoff, was asking, as I came up to the corner booth to hand out menus. Sidney wasn’t talking about me. She was glaring at someone at another table. But I couldn’t be bothered to look and see who Sidney was talking about, since my boyfriend, Seth, was sitting next to her, smiling up at me…that smile that’s been making girls’ insides melt since about the fifth grade, when we all started noticing Seth’s even white teeth and highly kissable lips. It still freaks me out that out of all the girls in school, I’m the one he picked to kiss with those lips. “Hey, babe,” Seth said to me, blinking his long, sexy eyelashes—the ones that I overheard my mom telling Sidney’s mom over the phone are totally wasted on a guy. He snaked an arm around my waist and gave me a squeeze. “Hi,” I said, a little breathlessly. Not just because of the squeeze, but because I had a twelve-top (Mrs. Hogarth’s ninety-seventh birthday party) that was running me ragged, refilling their iced tea glasses and such, so I was panting a little anyway. “How was the movie?” “Lame,” Sidney answered for everyone. “You didn’t miss anything. Lindsay should stick with red; blond does nothing for her. Seriously, though. What’s Morgan Castle doing here?” Sidney used the menu I’d just given her to point at a table over in Shaniqua’s section. “I mean, she’s got some nerve.” I started to say...
