People in Asia often traded goods and innovations. Trade has impacted post-classical Asia by spreading innovations and culture across Asia and Europe. This compares to modern day trade because places in the world have also gone through the spread of culture and knowledge through trading.

Silk roads connect East and Central Asia as well as Europe. Inventions that are commonly used across the world such as "gunpowder, paper, and the magnetic compass also gained popularity along the silk roads" according to Document 1. This led to a big increase in trade, showing how trade made an impact on post-classical Asia by spreading innovations.
