I arrived in Pohnpei on Saturday, April 7, after a thirty-hour, two-day trip from home. In Pohnpei, the people were once again very hungry for the Word of God. This was my third visit to them. I taught daily in the Bible school, mornings and afternoons, for about five hours, I taught the women’s group two evenings about God’s divine purpose for women, as well as the elders and leaders’ meeting. I also ministered in the church service for two Sundays, beginning Resurrection (Easter) Sunday. Praise God!
I believe this was another fruitful time of teaching the Word of God in Pohnpei, and I expect to hear more good reports!
From Pohnpei, on April 19, I flew to Guam and then to Manila, Philippines. Something very interesting happened on that trip. Usually when I travel, I keep mostly to myself and don’t talk much to other people. But it seemed that much of the way to Manila, beginning in the airport in Pohnpei, I was talking with one person after another that seemed, either in a minor or significant way, to be a divine appointment! It began by speaking to two Papua New Guinean men in the check-in line in
Pohnpei. I was able to speak some pidgin with them, and they were very surprised. Then when I went through security, one of the security officers approached me and began talking to me. He and his family had been in both Sunday services that I preached at in Pohnpei! He wanted to talk to me
