Over 56 Million unborn children have been killed, more than an entire population of a country (“10 reasons”).Many pro-lifers are going to the women rights march Saturday, January 22, a day after the inauguration on January 21. They will also be having their annual march on January 27 a week after the march on Washington DC. Abortion can harm the mother both mentally and physically after the abortion is over. It is also not right to kill the unborn child when it did not even have a chance at life. You should join the Pro-life movement because the more pro lifers we have the more unborn children are going to be saved. Life is more valuable than what most people think. A lot of people do not think of the baby when they decide to have an abortion(“Pro-Life Action”). Pro-life is a amazing movement to protect the right of the baby that abortion kills. …show more content…
In some cases tho pro-choice would be better. With an abortion being done it can save the mother from the pain of putting her child up for adoption if she knows she will not be able to take care of the baby (“ Abortion is good”). Many studies show that if someone were to need an abortion, it is considered one of the most safest medical procedures (“ Abortion is good”). Even tho there consider abortion to be one of the most safest procedures, there could always be a sudden problem during the procedure. In some cases you could be having problems with your pregnancy and abortion could be the only way to insure you stay healthy (“Abortion is good”). Thanks to women who choose to have abortions and then generously donate their aborted fetuses to medical research, scientists have been able to use fetal tissue to develop all kinds of treatments and cures for diseases (“ Abortion is good”). Argumentative Essay On Pro-Choice And Pro Life

...Sanger.) Pro-Choice and Pro-Life is a widely discussed topic in our society today, but there should not even be a discussion as an abortion should always be available for women who need it. There are many emotional, physical, health, and persona reasons for a woman to get an abortion; that society and the government ultimately should not have the say so on. The number one reason women have an abortion is due to lack of readiness financially. Now, you may be telling yourself that does not give a woman the right to “kill” her baby or maybe you are thinking that she should suffer the consequences of her action; but are you, as a pro-lifer, personally going to provide for that baby? Are you going...

How To Write An Argumentative Essay On Pro Life

...Abortion. It’s the word many people hate to discuss because of the controversial viewpoints on the subject. There is the pro-life movement, where people believe that abortion is murder and is many times related to religion. Then there is the pro-choice movement, where people think that women should have the rights to their own bodies and are the only people who can make such decisions. Both sides of the spectrum argue back and forth about the topic, but nobody can come to a clear consensus on things. I personally stand on the pro-choice end of things. There are many reasons why I believe what I do, such as rape and incest cases, financial situations, and medical emergencies. Abortion is a touchy subject no matter where you stand on the issue, so we...

Argumentative Essay: What´s Pro Life Democrats?

...The controversy surrounding abortion is one of the many political subjects that help to determine a person’s political standing. Therefore, the term “Pro-Life Democrat” is not contradictory because the issue of abortion is one piece of the entire political spectrum. There are many other issues that factor into whether or not someone is a "Democrat." As Pro-Life Democrats, we continue to support and listen to all of those who are not given a voice, including that of the unborn. Marginalized groups of America, such as women, the LGBTQ community, and immigrants, are all given support through the hard work of Democrats. As Democrats, we not only support human rights and social equality, but also economic reform. We support the use of New Deal programs which strengthen the struggling middle class of America, making it possible for the average American to...

Stylistic Analysis of Various Types of Essays

...STYLISTIC ANALYSIS OF VARIOUS TYPES OF ESSAYS In this chapter we describe different forms and styles of essay writing. These forms and styles are used by a range of authors, including university students and professional essayists. To characterize the peculiar features of the admission essay we would like to make stylistic analyses of an article. App. 1] The beginning of an essay, paragraph 1, is essential to making a good impression. We have elevated the level of diction here and improved the pacing to construct a more fluid beginning, including this sentence: "The injury itself was tendonitis, an elusive malady, not easy to pin down like a simple broken bone." Also, we have introduced a metaphor that will help the reader understand the seriousness of the injury, characterizing the pain as "a knife in my mind, sinking deeper the more I struggled." This will make it that much more impressive when you overcome the arm injury through sheer perseverance later in the essay. In the paragraph 2, a number of overly short sentences here have been combined into longer, more sophisticated phrasings. One example is: "I thought about how many famous soccer players are equally skilled with both feet, and wondered: could I learn to throw left-handed?" These changes help with both word count and readability issues. We have also eliminated or limited repetition by replacing the overused "frustrated" a variety of more illustrative phrasings. Paragraph...

Argumentative Essay: Abortion

...Argumentative Essay: Abortion English Composition II, Spring 2013 Abortion: Being Pro-choice Today, abortion is a big issue concerning women because for years it had been said that abortion should not be legal. Many people feel aborting an unwanted child, or killing an unwanted child should be against the law. Many people don't' know what abortion is, who can receive abortions, and why people would even choose to get them. I feel as though a woman's body is her own to do with what ever she wants. Therefore, on the topic of abortions, I am pro-choice. Whether or not women have the right to have abortions is a controversial subject. Opponents of abortions believe that abortion is seriously wrong. The pro-choice movement argues that a woman has the right to control her body and can do anything she wants to it without legal agreements. It is a women's right to make decisions about their own bodies. Having control over their own bodies is an important part of the equal rights that women have fount for. Women have worked to hard for their rights and no one has the right to tell a woman what she can or cannot do with her body. Being Pro-choice is also shared by the United States Supreme Court who ruled in the 1973 case "Roe Vs. Wade" that women have the right to control their own bodies. Since 1973 the Supreme Court has never over ruled this decision. First of all, before a person makes a decision about abortions, they should know exactly what it is. The dictionary...

Nasa Research Assignment

...Society Alex vanKooten COMM 1133, Section 40 Marc James Thursday, October 11, 2012 For my topic I have chosen to argue my stance that NASA and their efforts in the field of space exploration are important and beneficial to society. I plan to touch on how NASA has impacted the everyday life of the average North American and the contributions they have made while working to improve their own technologies. I will delve into both practical and abstract reasons for and against continuing space travel in addition to stating a few facts about past missions and their outcomes. The reason that I have chosen this topic is because NASA and the space exploration being done by the human race has always been a source of inspiration to me. I’ve enjoyed growing up in a world where travelling to something as distant as the moon was an attainable feat. In a sense, the entire concept of space and how humanity was working hard to map it and research all these different planets has always given me perspective on my own life. In more recent years however I’ve been noticing more and more people taking a stance against NASA and calling their work a “waste of money”. Therefore I have elected to write an argumentative essay where I argue in favour of NASA’s research. I will try to convince people who think the NASA’s funding should be cut that space exploration has a bigger impact on their lives than they may realize and it may be in society’s best interest to keep or even increase the current budget. My...

Comp2 Argumentative Essay

...Argumentative Essay: Should Abortion Be Illegal? The legalization of abortion has been an issue that has been argued both publically and privately for several decades. In all social circles this subject is very sensitive because of the moral and emotional factors involved. For the religious community, it’s a matter of morality and biblical law. For the lay person or non-religious community it’s a matter of choice. In the political arena it’s a matter of economics. The one factor that stands out the most about this issue is that it is of a personal nature. The question at hand is should we legalize abortion, and should women on government assistance be able to receive an abortion as the expense of tax payers? In order to respond to this question responsibly let’s take a look back history to get a better understanding of abortion. Abortion actually dates back to Biblical times when women consumed an herbal concoction that would induce a spontaneous expulsion of a fetus. Though this practice often resulted in not ending the pregnancy or in the death of the mother and the fetus it was documented (Fox, 2012). Throughout history there have been documented incidents of abortion. In fact, in early American history, abortion was illegal and the death of the fetus was considered to be murder. Since the great legal battle of Roe verses Wade (Profile, 1973), advocates of women’s rights have continued to fight for a woman’s right to choose. This brings Fox, P. (2012). About...

...termpaperwarehouse.comHow to Write a Comparative Analysis Throughout your academic career, you'll be asked to write papers in which you compare and contrast two things: two texts, two theories, two historical figures, two scientific processes, and so on. "Classic" compare-and-contrast papers, in which you weight A and B equally, may be about two similar things that have crucial differences (two pesticides with different effects on the environment) or two similar things that have crucial differences, yet turn out to have surprising commonalities (two politicians with vastly different world views who voice unexpectedly similar perspectives on sexual harassment). In the "lens" (or "keyhole") comparison, in which you weight A less heavily than B, you use A as a lens through which to view B. Just as looking through a pair of glasses changes the way you see an object, using A as a framework for understanding B changes the way you see B. Lens comparisons are useful for illuminating, critiquing, or challenging the stability of a thing that, before the analysis, seemed perfectly understood. Often, lens comparisons take time into account: earlier texts, events, or historical figures may illuminate later ones, and vice versa. Faced with a daunting list of seemingly unrelated similarities and differences, you may feel confused about how to construct a paper that isn't just a mechanical exercise in which you first state all the features that A and B have in common, and then state all...

Are there certain events or feelings or memories that led you to write on this topic or to take this approach? What kind of feedback or response would you like from your reader? I think this essay will definitely bring to light the future of social security.
