In my opinion, I believe that Nathaniel should have gotten a little bit more time than he did because he had left the school, went home and grabbed the gun and went back to the school to shoot his teacher. Nathaniel knew exactly what he was doing, but studies do show that juvenile’s do lose lots of brain tissue while they are still maturing. I believe that some of these juvenile’s do not deserve the sentence punishment that they have received but I also do believe that some of these juvenille’s do deserve their punishments. The supreme court should really take the juvenile’s age into consideration and really think about the sentence that they plan on giving them. The jury and also the supreme court should all get together to talk about what they should do how they want to punish the juvenile rather it being life in prison for their horrific crime that they committed or sentencing them to do minimal time but also should add on months or even years of probabtion. ...
