Professional Knowledge and Abilities Effects on Career Success Professional knowledge and professional abilities grow career success throughout the length of the career. Knowledge is a foundation for improving abilities. As abilities become fine tuned with greater knowledge, career success will strengthen. Professional organizations will incorporate the growth of these two aspects in the organization. The organization will help members become stronger in their fields and thus make the organization stronger. The Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) is a leading organization in the information technology world. AITP has chapters across the United States and the world. One of their foundations is education. They insist on increasing knowledge that gives the technology world growth. The organization is filled with IT professionals that strive to be better people, more knowledgeable and stronger in their IT abilities. Their mission statement stresses improving leadership and knowledge for the present and the future. AITP will contribute toward increasing professional knowledge and abilities. They do this by developing charters throughout the world. AITP connect IT professional yearning for growth in themselves and growth in the industry. AITP provides mentors, workshops and technical foresight. The organization holds summits, individual chapter meetings and online displays of technical advances. All of this, combined with a network of individuals with the same goals for the world of technology is increasingly effective in distributing knowledge to its members.
