...This is the progress report that you requested us to submit about our long report on, Coca Cola’s most successful and unsuccessful advertisements. Since the beginning of the long report we have been meeting every wednesday to work on completing the multiple criteria assigned. On our first night we discussed which company would provide the best advertisements to analyze. Unanimously we decided Coca Cola to be an excellent lead company with plenty of campaigns to choose from. After some basic research we narrowed down the long list of Coca Cola’s advertisements to a more manageable one. Our new list consisted of four successful and four unsuccessful ad campaigns allowing us to focus our research. The research completed helped us to determine a total of four ads that could be best analyzed throughout our long report. We then used that research to compose and submit our proposal for approval. After we received our proposal back and reviewed the suggestions, we revised any errors. Within the proposal we included employees from different advertising agencies we had an interest in writing letters to. We then composed our own letters containing a series of different questions and sent the letters to our designated experts in hopes to attain additional information. Finally, we finished our research for the long report and determined where each source would be used within the document. Throughout our meetings we did run into a few complications. One was finding a day,...

...This article is about the budget deal that’s currently being debated about that would cut federal spending by as much as 33 billion dollars and dodge a government shutdown. As of right now, there is a difference in what should be included in it and not included in the budget. If the deal were to be approved, the deal would be the largest single year budget cut in U.S. history. The government would be funded through the current fiscal year, which ends in September, and then end stopgap resolutions. The senate and the house have agreed on 10 billion dollars in budget cuts, but they are now searching for another 23 billion dollars in cuts according to lawmakers and aides from both sides. House leaders said they will vote March 31st to make their bill for 61 billion dollars in budget cuts if the senate fails to act by April 8th. How it would pass constitutionally is not likely, as the Senate has rejected that bill and President Obama has vowed to veto it. House Republicans are very frustrated because the Senate Democrats haven't submitted their proposal yet. This bill will most likely die and not become a budget in my opinion. This article relates to American government because it involves the House of Representatives, the Senate and the President in proposing bills and budgets. It basically relates to how a bill becomes a law. The House of Representatives seem to be the only ones who appear to favor the budget while the Senate and President do not. In order for a bill like this...

...[pic] Progress Report with working outline/rough draft For Margaret Sledziewski, Supervisor Prepared by: Bilal Zaheer Researcher Submitted: November 2, 2007 Steamline Production To: Margaret Sledziewski From: Bilal Date: November 1, 2007 Re: Progress report Implementation of new digital audio workstation - FL Studio On October 19, 2007, I proposed an Implementation of new digital audio workstation - FL Studio. After your approval of my project, we have encountered a couple problems but other than that everything is going well and all the work will be done by November 19, 2007. This memo reports the progress report, the problem we have encountered and the conclusions. Background As you know, FL Studio is a digital audio workstation which can record, mix, create, and edit sounds. It has a sequencer that makes it possible to create beats from patterns, which is the foundation of any track. The program currently used by the firm is fairly complicated and hard to use. This results in poor production. By using FL studio, we can create exact tracks which we intend to make. In my research I found that our competition has increased. Other similar companies have also upgraded their software to assist them in meeting their clients’ demands. I however, found out that none of them are using this software. This software is very helpful for our music industry and can give us an upper hand against our competitors. Project...
