2.1. Scope Statement
The Rainbow Paint Warehouse ensures proper removal, relocation, installation, and operation of all unit equipment from the old warehouse into the new warehouse. The relocation of the Rainbow Paint Warehouse is a big opportunity for our company to expand in the new market. The biggest challenge for us is to move the products from the old warehouse to new warehouse and make sure that fits in the redesign space according to the needs of the merchandise shelves. Some key factors to work into this project include the fact that the size of the warehouse is more than the old warehouse in Cedar Park. So we have to make sure that we order more products to completely fill our warehouse and to satisfy the big Austin market. Moving the products to a new warehouse the project team must also make the arrangements for the procurement of new performant lifting equipment (forklifts), insurance policy and security service. Human Resource department makes an important role in hiring and training the new employees and making sure that everything is done in a specified period of time. Completion of the project on time give the marketing department to finish their part of job before December so that they can contact the old customers with the new address and target our new customers. The most logical approach to our project given the requirement to maintain 100% uptime and with the limited budget will be to continue in three phases: * Prepare the new building with new equipment and products. * Moving products from old to new warehouse. * Getting employees trained.
While customer service remains at the heart of Rainbow Painting, project scope has greatly expanded, bringing expert painting and contracting solutions to modern problems across Temple, Austin, San Antonio and beyond. Relocation and record management of old warehouse to a new warehouse
