...Name Course Institution Affiliated Difference between accountability and blame Human beings possess different ways of looking at things and therefore give different ideas non similar approaches due to their divergent points of view. People find it hard on the other hand to find their counterparts accountable since of difficulties in interpersonal communication. Another danger gets into the picture as people try hard avoiding situations where they blame other people and as a solution to this they tend to avoid communicating with the affected people. (Garrett, 1967).Problem causes should be pointed out therefore, without any adore and their root causes found out. This though will take time as serious conversations will need to be held in order to make them completely aware of their accountability roles and obligations. When accountability seeks to determine the objective of a given problem, blames ignores and do not undertake to find out the root cause of some problems. Accountability will therefore, undertake to align organizational objectives with some actions such as wanting some people out of the organization due to non accountability issues. Accountability will seek avoid countermeasure decisions that blames will encourage. (Garrett, 1967). Accountability will seek to find out the actual facts through understanding of the problem at hand. It also tends to disregard the reported or second hand information and data...

...Requirements of the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Technical Management Abstract The purpose of this project is to research a few well known accidents and incidents within the aviation history of the United States of America. The project would further describe some of the changes to aviation in our country because of these accidents and incidents. I will be utilizing articles published on the World Wide Web in order to gather the information needed to complete this project. The project will first define the difference between an Aviation accident and an aviation incident. List some well-known occurrences of each and the impact they have had on the aviation community. Accidents in Aviation Sub Topic “An aviation accident is defined in the Convention on International Civil Aviation Annex 13 as an occurrence associated with the operation of an aircraft which takes place between the time any person boards the aircraft with the intention of flight and all such persons have disembarked, in which a person is fatally or seriously injured, the aircraft sustains damage or structural failure or the aircraft is missing or is completely inaccessible.” Wikipidia (2012). Therefore, for an aviation accident to take place according to the Convention on International Civil Aviation Annex 13 two things must be present at least one person and an aircraft. ...Proposal: Planned Giving Development Team Alpha NAVAL AVIATION MUSEUM FOUNDATION 4/14/2012 Development Team Alpha NAVAL AVIATION MUSEUM FOUNDATION 4/14/2012 Executive Summary “Planned Giving,” as proposed by the NAMF Board of Directors, is forwarding for consideration by the NAMF Governance Council with Development’s highest possible recommendation for immediate initiation. With the exception of “Aircraft Restoration,” this project should be given NAMF’s highest priority. While this will result in some delays in completing NAMF’s Corporate Giving project, the lack of corporate philanthropic support during the recession, coupled with the potential exponential increases in ROI, make “Planned Giving” a very lucrative and very low-risk endeavor. Application of Portfolio Process In a world of fast paced technology and stiff competition, companies need a formalized approach and method for maximizing their portfolios, programs and projects, by assessing their impact on the business and the company’s capability to deliver. In developing and implementing such a process it is important to understand and evaluate the existing project inventory against a set of predefined criteria established by the portfolio management team. Excising non-aligned, redundant or those projects that do not provide value will release scarce resources for better opportunities. (Wiley, 2011). A firm understanding is thus required of what projects are in work and where they are in the process. Additionally...
