Introduction

In this I am required to provide a rationale for a promotional campaign and I will need to make recommendations for improvement.

Campaign brief for Southall College
This is advertising campaign will be designed by Southall and West London College, it is organised with the services of an advertising agency.

Background
The background of the promotional campaign for Southall College will include comments about the market and College’s current objectives.

For Southall they provide courses for students and Adults learning, the College is a part of 3 other sites which are Hammersmith, Acton and Ealing. The market is growing as other schools such as Villiers, Dormers and Featherstone because they have started to do Sixth Form in the Schools. The College desire is to continue providing courses and facilities. I would recommend the College to increase the courses and facilities they have.

Objectives
The objectives of Southall College promotional campaign along with the marketing aims it is designed to support.

The objectives for the College should be clear and given a time scale because if the timescale is not given then it can take longer time which will time-consuming and the College will not be able to achieve its objectives. For college it is important to have good reputation because they will be able to attract more students by the quality of teaching they are doing and also the courses available for the students. Also it refers to the grades that the college is achieving for the students for example the business courses Southall and West London is offering has achieved 98% of success in student’s grades.

The target market of the College is students 14 to 19 years old these are the people the promotional campaign is intended to influence. The customer’s benefits of the using the services should be detailed as the details are
