In conclusion, the article provided enough pros and cons under the COPPS concept model, as well as various ethical dilemmas and problems and the approaches that can be taken to resolve these dilemmas, for example relativism, absolutism, utilitarianism, and ethical formalism. Lastly, as COPPS may pose an increase in the number of ethical dilemmas presented to police officers, the outcomes of these dilemmas will be determined by the tradition, character, ethical systems and training of the agency, as well as the ethical beliefs of the officers. ...
