President Dilma Rouseff is into her second term as President of Brazil , yet the people of Brazil are extremely unhappy as they suffer under a sickly economy and a major corruption scandal at Petrobras which has angered a majority of the Brazilians on this rampant scale of corruption . Large sums of money earned by the exchequer are claimed to have been stolen in kickbacks and funneled to politicians and its allies who are already facing criminal investigations. President Dilma Rouseff , during her first term of having been elected to office , had campaigned before the Brazilians that their living standards, jobs and social benefits were being threatened by her opponents .

In fact, as many voters now realize, Ms Rousseff was peddling a lie.
