This was successful because the 5 people had said this works. This means Mrs Holloway would be able to use the operating system Windows 7.
Q7

I have asked if the keyboard works with the computer, if the user is able to enter keys and all 5 people said if doesn’t work. To fix this problem I had turned the computer off by holding the power button on the computer and then re-connected the keyboards USB cable to the computer and I then turned the computer back on.

Q8

I have asked if the printer prints from Mrs Holloway’s computer, they a printed out a document to test this and all 5 people said that they can print wirelessly from, the computer.

Q9

I have asked if the computer produces graphics, they tested this by going onto YouTube and loaded a video and from this all 5 people had said the computer can produce the graphics. This means Mrs Holloway would be able to load graphics on the computer; she would be able to open image files.

...1.) Proposition is a designated to designated to political parties, and individuals in a legislature who are favorable and supportive of the incumbent government, which is a blanket term for any ballot measure to be voted on by the people. A referendum is when the voters decide to approve or reject an existing law. There are two different ways this can occur: one, if there is already a law in place, the voters can attempt to repeal the law; and two, if the legislature decides to not vote on the measure and places it on the ballot for voter consideration. 2.) In my own words a Proposition is the side a political party or a candidate incline to, and they will try to make laws that favors their side.  The proposition I will talk about Prop 61 and Prop 64: Proposition 61: This proposition Prohibits state agencies from paying more for a prescription drugs than the lowest price paid for the same drug by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. Applies to any program where the state is the ultimate payer for a drug, even if the state does not purchase the drug directly. Proposition 64: Legalizes marijuana and hemp under state law. Designates state agencies to license and regulate marijuana industry. Imposes state excise tax on retail sales of marijuana equal to 15% of sales price, and state cultivation taxes on marijuana of $9.25 per ounce of flowers and $2.75 per ounce of leaves. 3.) Implications of this propositions: Proposition 61: This Proposition implies that medical...

...I have not been exposed to lot of computer science projects, only through class assignment. The hardest would be the 4th programming assignment I took in my second CS class. The objective was to write a while loop to convert numbers from decimals to any base less than 10 and a recursive function any base less than 10 to decimal in C++. For the first part of the assignment I wrote 2 different void functions to convert the decimal value to hexadecimal. I started by including my , and using namespace std The second question was a personal project to practice my recursive functions and while loops, I created a long function with long n and long c parameter as n is the number to be converted and c the base to be converted to. I added long a long increment and long result with 1 and 0 as initializers respectively. I created a while loop for n, while n is not equal to 0; in this loop I added an if loop for n remainder 10 less than or equal to 9, in the loop I added a long x equals to n remainder 10, equated result equal to result plus increment times x and then made n equal to n minus x. Outside the if loop I made n equal to n divided 10 and increment equal to increment times c, outside the while loop I cout result. The while loop is there so it would run till n is not 0, in the if statement I try to separate each digit using the remainder when dived by 10 and multiplying it by the increment at that point then adding it to the result which changes after each loop, I separate x from...

...This unit comprises one of the heavier workloads as there is a graded exam in addition to the normally required discussion, programming, learning journal assignments and associated peer assessments. However, it is fortuitous that the Christmas holiday does not fall during this unit which should allow ample time to complete the required assignments. Foremost, I commenced this unit by opening my textbook and reading the required passages as assigned by the class professor. Consequently, the chapter for this unit was primarily devoted to the discussion of functions, the advantages of applying them in code and the particulars of parameter and return value usage. Personally, I feel that function excel in numerous areas yet one in particular that stands out is their reusability factor. Once a coder has encoded and successfully debugged a function, that function is not solely restricted to the program it was originally written for. Indeed, a coder can reapply that function in other programs without the inconvenience of having to resolve the problem that the...

...This week’s material is pretty easy to learn. My learning strategy stayed the same from last week; read the reading material, look at the optional video lectures, answer the discussion question, program the programming assignment, take the self-quiz, etc. … I appreciate learning about the for … each loop. I’m plenty familiar with the for loop, which iterates for a set number of loops, uses initialization, a continue condition, and updating at the top of its block; but, the for … each control structure is a alternative to for. The for .. each loop control structure does not have as complicated continue conditions, and iterates the length of the data structure. I want to master the for .. each loop because it processes a data structure better then the for loop. I interacted with people in the discussion forum. This week’s question asked students to detail the for , and for … each control structure, and include the enum data structure in the explanation. I posted a discussion post, complete with programming examples of each data structure, but there are not enough other student responses to assess. I’ll keep looking for other students to post their discussion assignment, as I need to assess three student discussion posts. This week, I feel it will be helpful to master the for .. each, while, and do … while control structures. Often, I use the for loop, and select case / switch, but the other loops escape my programming toolbox. This week, I learned how to program with while...

...1. Based on the beliefs of personal beliefs every culture has a different explanation to why people are born with disabilities. In the example of Pacific Islanders, Philipiens, and Chamorro they all have different beliefs and explanation to answer why they have been born with a disability. In comparison to American beliefs they are different because their beliefs are based on cultural assumptions. American beliefs are made by medical studies that try to explain why people are born with learning disabilities. Each culture has a different explanation for explaining why people are born with disability 2. Pacific Islander belief that the reason people are born with disability is because of an ancestor’s dishonest behavior. To work with a parent that beliefs that their child is a reflection of the behavior of an ancestor it to demonstrate to parents the students success. When addressing parents during a meeting, showing them sample work that the student has done and to show the progress they have done. As a teacher, you can not influence your personal beliefs towards a parents because teachers are trained to think with American belief and customes as a teacher it is not in our place to convince parents out of their. The best things for a teacher to do is to demonstrate how accomplished their child has become and how they have become successful. The role of a teacher is to work with the parent and child to see how the students is capable to successfully they are in school. 3. The cultural...

...land there was dry and gray, and everything that grew there was gradually dying. Suddenly Prince Lemon found a small lonely vegetable, which lay on the ground, leaning against a small stone and cried. “Who are you?” asked him Prince Lemon. “I'm a “Cuke”, I was left completely alone and absolutely colorless. But when I was so green!” answered the small lone vegetable. “Do not be sad now we will help you!” said Prince Lemon. “Now it's my turn to share the color! Who will help me? We need to get green!” “I'll help,” said Princess Blueberry, and gave Lemon a little blue. They took the brushes and stirred the lemon and blue in the bucket. The “Cuke” looked in the bucket and exclaimed,“Yes, this is my green color! Paint me in it soon!" Task 6 Mix most of the lemon color on the palette and the smaller part of the blue until a neutral green is obtained (in the process of work, be guided by the color of leaves or grass). Having received a green, paint Blueberry, Cuke, and Lemon. Study with the child the formula: blue (smaller part) + lemon (most) = green. After Lemon and Blueberry painted the "Cuke" in green, they saw that lonely colorless tree grows in the Royal Garden. "We still have a green color, let's paint the leaves of this tree," Prince Lemon suggested. "Of course, let's paint them," Blueberry and Raspberry agreed. "Will you colorize me too?" suddenly asked the fruit, lonely hanging on a tree. "And who are you?" Lemon asked him amazed."I am an"Orange,” answered a lonely fruit...

...In order to select teacher and principal participants that meet the criteria, I will work collaboratively with the Department of Human Resources and the ESOL Department to first identify schools that have an ESOL population of at least 50 percent or higher, which mirrors an important characteristic of Robinson Elementary. After schools have been identified, I will identify schools from the selection that have a principal that has been at the current school for at least 4 consecutive years with a current retention rate of 70 percent. Teacher participants will be selected from those schools. Plan for Analyses I will look for patterns in the data using central questions to focus my analysis. As Patton (2002) explains, “qualitative data describes. They take us, as readers into the time and place of the observation so that we know what it was like to have been there. They capture and communicate someone else’s experience of the world in his or her own words” (p. 47). To capture the participating teachers’ and principals responses, the interviews and observations will be transcribed and read through many times to identify categories of responses, patterns, and themes, both by participant and question. In addition, answers to the interview questions will be looked at one at a time across all participant answers to find similarities of thought. Field notes taken during the interviews will be immediately analyzed and reflections written. This process will occur after each interview...

...In this module we are assigned to create an interactive project. It is quite hard to describe what exactly is needed to achieve something that is interactive. According to the Oxford dictionary (2015) something interactive can be defined in two ways, as following: “Allowing a two-way flow of information between a computer and a computer-user; responding to a user’s input:” “(Of two people of things) influencing each other” This is a very broad field with possibly infinite creations, which could be classified as interactive. As a musician myself, I’m always very interested in new inventions that can help musicians be more creative or make some tasks more time efficient and more affordable. When I first heard what needs to be done I had tons of various ideas that could possibly be done using Max/MSP in the time given. I had to narrow it down quite a bit. I decided that I would like to create some kind of controller to make music-creating process using Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) even easier for many people, including me. I was thinking about what I would like to have that is not really easy accessible. Using a standard MIDI keyboard and any DAW with MIDI roll feature, almost everyone can play every instrument/synth possible, yet people still try and make a MIDI versions of real instruments, such as MIDI guitars, wind MIDI synthesizers or electric drum kits. For someone whose main instrument is guitar, at first it was bit tricky to play what I wanted on keyboard, but after...

(The difference between each answer is - 1,2,3,4,5). I can predict last column is always going to be equal to the 2nd column. Another prediction I could explore how the last column has 2 even and 2 odd numbers. Row 6: 1+2+3+4+5+6 = 6x7 ÷ 2 = 21 (odd) Row 7: 1+2+3+4+5+6+7 = 7x8 ÷ 2 = 28 (even) Row 8: 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8 = 8x9 ÷ 2 = 36 (even) This shows how the 2 odd & 2 even method continues throughout the sequence, this would be correct as the numbers from the last column (1,3,6,10,15,21,28,36…)...

...Scenario 6 Additionally, in order to calculate the probability that exactly 1 marriage will be in the stock, one would apply the same formula as before. Since the stock is composed only of three cards, there could only be 1 marriage. There are 22 possible cards to receive (n) which are not a marriage since there can only be 1 other card (r). It doesn't matter whether the other card would be a pair card or not since it couldn't be a marriage by itself. There are four diverse marriages which means there could be four various marriages with 1 different card from the 22 other cards. This probability is extraordinarily low. It's the lowest probability of all. From my personal experience playing this game, it seems to be true, however, in an actual game the fact that players get cards one by one and not in a row, alters the probability and decreases it even more. The probability of getting exactly 1 marriage in the stock is exceedingly low itself. Rarely does it happen, that there is a pair in the stock which supports this calculation....
