(Twain 5) Wilson was just making a joke to get acquainted with some of the townsfolk, but this one minor event changed his life. His career and reputation was hurt for many years. On page 14, Roxana switches the children in order for her child (Chambers) to avoid getting sold down the river. She does this by switching their clothes and cribs; with this she changes the story dramatically....
