A simple definition of PV system is converting the light coming from the sun to useful electricity. In the case of LAWANG BATO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, their PV system supplies the School library and T.L.E. room, wherein the reality this places is not commonly used by the students. As a student of Electrical Engineering and knowledgeable on this matter, I suggest that instead of supplying those places why not give the free electricity to the rooms used by the majority of the students of LBNHS. As I also recall waste of electricity encounter in weekends, I suggest to use that free electricity in some places like school’s hallways or for school’s lamp posts at night. On the other hand, I have learned a lot regarding this topic when we visited LBNHS. We are all aware about the issue of Electricity price hike. And I see one solution to solve this issue, let’s use renewable energy, it is free and efficient if we use and install it properly. Instead of wasting our time complaining to the government, why not think solutions that may help everyone and solve this crisis. Be educated on this matter. It will start on us, LBNHS is now using PV system, and I hope in the near future our city will develop and help every school in Valenzuela City to provide and encourage them to use renewable energy or PV system. No more complain let us do something to develop our City/Country. Be Eco-friendly. Use renewable energy.

To promote the usefulness of such renewable energy systems, a simple design and cost analysis method was developed. Its purpose is system sizing and life cycle cost analysis. Key parameters such as energy consumption, storage requirements, solar resources and financing options are entered into the program. Results such as system size and project cost are computed. For the financial analysis, Internal Rate of Return and Payback Period are used as project evaluation techniques. The method was tested for four PV systems with different geographical conditions and energy consumption profiles.
