Life Event 1:
My first event I would have to say when I moved to the United States when I was 4 years old. This event is so significant because if we hadn’t moved here in the States, I’d probably end up doing the same thing my cousins been doing drugs, alcohol, and trying to survive every day. Life in the Philippines is very hard, especially when you come from a poor family background. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for my parents decided to make a change and moved here. Settling here and living on Oahu changed my life a lot. For me, Hawaii is another version of the Philippines. Everywhere you go, you see Filipino on the street or on every supermarket. Life Event 3: My third life event is when I graduated High School. This even is so significant because I’m one of the lucky person to graduate high school. There’s a lot of people who wished they stayed in school and get their diploma. Living in Hawaii made it more difficult because I’ve seen so many of my older relatives and their friends that didn’t get their diploma. A lot of these are due to lack of knowledge,
