Introduction
Purpose of the Quality Management Plan
The Project Quality Management Plan has herein been created to document the necessary information required to effectively guarantee the quality of the delivered project. It defines the project’s quality policies, procedures, criteria for and areas of application, and roles, responsibilities and authorities.
The primary quality criteria identified for the project is aesthetics and fitness for use. Recall the motive for the project: to modernize the family kitchen due to outdated appliances, old cupboards and pipes in poor condition, and chipping paint issues. Therefore it is quintessential to deliver a high quality project that meets the family’s desire for a better looking/functioning kitchen. There are also a few structural criteria that need to be assured for parts of the project to prevent breakdown, and unnecessary wear and tear.

Quality Management Plan
The Quality Management Plan consists of 3 parts: Quality Planning, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control. Together these 3 sections will set up the required formwork define, achieve and review the quality parameters to be achieved throughout the project.
Quality Planning
The quality planning phase of the project consists of defining quality standards, selecting the proper materials, training of those responsible for quality mentoring and training of labourers who will be completing the works.
