When Rabindranath Tagore said ”You can’t cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water.” i think he meant that you can't get anything good or important without trying. You don’t just get to have stuff given to you, and if you do somehow end up having everything handed to you on a silver platter, you end up not learning how life is supposed to be and you kind of “cut out” of a lot of experiences that could have shaped you to be a better person. I personally agree with this quote i think you need to work for something that you want and that life is not lived by waiting for something good to happen you might be able to live longer than someone who actually lived there life, but you won’t have the same amount of experience as them; and you’ll have a live that's boring and most likely one you don't want. …show more content…
