The Racine Zoological Garden or Racine Zoo is situated on 32 acres on the shore of Lake Michigan in Racine, Wisconsin. The Zoo is operated by the Racine Zoological Society a non-profit organization.

Jacob Stoffel Jr. established the Zoo in March 1923, and he donated the first animals. Later on, different organizations donated many others, like badgers, foxes, mountain goats, and monkeys.

There are more than 100 species of animals and the majority comes from Wisconsin. There is a special room for reptiles and amphibians indigenous to the State.

The communities are very active in Wisconsin and donations are very important to keep the Zoo and the animals in good condition. The interaction between animals and humans is very important,
