...What strategies do you think are potentially effective for combating prejudice and racism and racism in society? Please describe two strategies or methods in detail to ensure your strategies are clear. I think that this problem is multi layered, with many aspects to its cause. One thing that needs to happen is to educate everyone to a higher standard than we are now with the 12 grade education level. I think that one way to do this is make it equal in every school and make it a must to complete it before you can go on or quite, or do anything else. To accomplish this task, it will be hard, because of the lack of teachers. But if they were rotated, and held accountable, as well as the students being held accountable I feel it will start and move in the right direction. I think that the best thing to do to combat racism in our society is to make everyone after they complete the 12 grade to go into one of the armed forces for a period of two years minimum. During this time, you will be taught a trade that you can do to live on and raise a family. You will have the option to go to college or any further training you want to as long as you are considered as an active duty status. This will help most of the country’s problems with gangs, under employment, racism, and discrimination. It will instill respect, discipline, and Americanism to a new all-time...
