...Rant I absolutely cannot STAND when some so called Christian looks down on me or claim that I’m going to hell because I don’t believe in what they believe in. “What? You don’t believe in God? You’re an atheist! You’re going to hell!” SHUT THE FUCK UP. I’m not some fucking serial killer alright? I’m not fucking evil. Look, even if you believe that I won’t make it to your glorious heaven, which may or may not exist, that doesn’t mean you have to throw it in my face every, FUCKING, day. I don’t need your fucking sideways glances and shit. Okay, we have already established I don’t believe. Do we really have to go over this shit again? Seriously? And what’s with you mother fuckers preaching this God shit to me every day? I already established that I do not believe in God and I will not change my fucking mind, no matter how many fucking scriptures you read to me. No I am not going to go home and waste my fucking time reading the bible. No I am not wasting my Sunday going to a fucking church. So you can take your bull shit pamphlets and shove them up your “holy” ass. And to you mother fuckers who tell me not to curse in front of church; fuck you and that church. Talking about its disrespectful to the “House of the Lord”. If the “lord” had a house, I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be this beat up ass trash can of a building. And if that’s the case, the “Lord” has a lot of fucking houses. I refuse to pray to some fairy tale character every fucking night. I refuse to thank God for everything...

...To the hope and fear outside, we’ll try to stay blind. Be ready to get confused. There is no logic here. The feelings are definitely irresistible. Then all of a sudden it didn’t happen. It’s all about emotion. There is no map in this room of Déjà vu. These thoughts were created just for you. Take it with all your breath and skin. The insomnia is creeping back to me. My feelings are all dried up, and spinning out of control. It feels like life is laughing in my face. I prepare to be all alone. Trapped on this dirt road trail full of righteous zombies. Time to run and take cover. Can’t you hear the deep booms of thunder? It’s all said, done and fucking dead! I’m breathing hard again. I cant’ let go. I can’t get out. There is one above and one just below, here you have no soul. It takes everything. It’s dead enough to not quite see it. It’s where all of our secrets go. I scream, and fail. But when I can I will try to understand, and it never comes. It has all the years I’ve been missing. I should’ve learned. I’m holding my breath underwater. Eardrums bursting from the pressure. I can’t touch the bottom. In the pitch black my arms reach out, and find the heart I’m trying to heal, and then I fade into my secret place. It makes the air so hard to breathe. Soft shining from my eyes, into another space is mine alone tonight. My name is forgotten, somewhere in the category of no one. So, freak out and just give in, they don’t care what you believe...

...Thus, by voting guilty, Juror 10 can get rid of a killer which would help protect his ingroup. Similarly, after the other jurors begin to show their disapproval of Juror 10’s rant, he switches tone and tries to make it sound like he is simply trying to educate them. Social Identity theory would hypothesize that one of the reasons Juror 10 wants to educate the other members of the jury are because they are part of his ingroup, and by educating them he can protect them. The other jurors do not stay members of his ingroup for the whole scene, however. Eventually, the members who wish to vote “not guilty” stand up and show their disapproval. At first, this angers Juror 10 and those who wish to vote “not guilty” become part of his outgroup. This shows just how quickly ingroups and out groups can change. Especially when there is not a deep seeded connection between the members. In all likelihood, these jurors never knew...

...easily forgotten. It is time to remind our leaders of that lesson, and just like the tea floating in Boston Harbor changed the face of the Thirteen Colonies, the Tea Party Movement will change the face of the United States of America. The Tea Party Movement did not begin with the dumping of heavily taxed tea in to Boston harbor, but on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange on February 19, 2009. There was no plan for the Tea Party, it was born out of the resonance of an impromptu rant by CNBC commentator Rick Santilli; a rant against the government bail-out of banks, a rant against irresponsible borrowing policies and the fall of the subprime mortgage market. These government bail-outs were going to cost the tax payers. Just like that, the fuse had been lit, and in an explosion only possible in the information age via Twitter, Facebook and radio , this “New American Tea Party” began to invigorate an entirely new core of Conservative Republicans. Shortly after Rick Santilli’s rant on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Tea Party rallies began to spring up in many communities, with membership growing exponentially, and it was only a matter of time before the country, and then the world began to take notice. Not since the Anti-War movement of the 1960’s had such large scale, peaceful protest occurred over government policy [...

...Today NBA Commissioner Adam Silver historically announced in New York City his decision for Donald Sterling’s racist rant over the weekend. His decision comes three days after the initial audio leak from TMZ. Silver presented his punishment of banning Sterling for life extracting him from anything related to the Clippers organization, and the National Basketball Association as a whole. He also added a hefty maximum amount fine of 2.5 million dollars, which will be donated to organizations promoting anti-discrimination. The Commissioner expressed his personal outrage by stating, "The views by Sterling are deeply offensive and harmful. That they came from an NBA owner only heightens the damage and my personal outrage.” He also personally apologized to former and present NBA players, the Clippers organization, and the fans. Silver addressed in the press conference that he urges all NBA owners to stand by him in forcing Donald Sterling to sale the Clippers franchise. In order for Silver’s wishes to happen he would have to cast a vote amongst NBA owners and 75 percent of the owners have to agree with forcing the sale. Silver stated he was optimistic that he’ll get the support he needs to move forward. Unfortunately as a result of Sterling’s racist rant sponsors have quickly dis associated themselves from Clippers organization. In rapid succession, the mass exodus included used car seller CarMax, State Farm Insurance, Kia Motors America, airline Virgin America, P. Diddy's water...

... historical events, and etcetera. I’m not big on psychology in a broad range, but I do enjoy abnormal psychology and learning about anti-social behavioral people that make-up society. I started working at an airport after I graduated high school back in May of 2015. My job seems pretty simple in what I am told to do, but the work is a pain in the ass. I clean planes for a bunch of rich bastards that do nothing it seems except fly planes and go to swinger clubs. I also mow the airport mainly in the summer and not so much in the winter. Mowing is my favorite part because I can go do my own thing and not listen to dumbass Bill (who just got fired recently, Thank God) rant about how Fox News is what kids need to watch to learn something. I’m not a liberal, but I hate Fox News by the way. All Fox News does is rant about something non-stop and repeat the same thing over and over. Well anyways, the job pays the bills and that is what matters. School is very important as you may know, but at the same time homework sucks. My favorite area of learning is about history. Partly due to the fact I can easily memorize historical events. Another area of what I know but strongly dislike is math. Math is one of those things that I’m good at and hate, but do it anyway because I know how. I know that abnormal psychology has to do with mental disorders such as anti-personality disorder, which involves sociopaths and psychopaths, and border personality disorder, and I actually know somebody who...

Today this common law doctrine is widely used and applies in every state except Montana. However, state and federal statutes that govern employment relationships prevent the doctrine from being applied under certain circumstances. As such, employees who are wrongfully discharged may bring legal action against their employer based on violations of employment contract or statutory law. These state and federal statutes collectively are known as the exceptions to the employment at will doctrine that the courts adopted because of the harsh effects on employees. Public-policy exception According to Sentell & Robbins (2008), under the public-policy exception to employment at will, an employee is wrongfully discharged when the termination is against an explicit, well-established public policy of...

...American culture, they decided to build up their culture for themselves. Through Spoken word, Asian american’s are able to fight off hegemonic standards that characterizes them as well as creating their own voice. People that are so fed up with all the stereotypes that define them are able to spill out their thoughts for an audience. An example of this is Alex Dang, an Asian American who utilized his opportunity by speaking out about the hardships that his community faces, the sacrifice that his parents had to make and the identity crisis that comes along with it. Him being able to speak out in front of an audience already breaks the stereotypes that Asian’s are shy or quiet. The rant he gave allowed the audience to know that he has a voice and that it wasn’t going to be contained anymore. His rant was able to represent the entire Asian community and allowed the audience to know that they are no longer afraid to use their voice or fight back against the standards that the general public set for them. While some people speak on the Open Mic, some turn to beauty pageants as a way to recreate the culture. In the early stages of beauty pageants, only people that are of the white race were able to participate. The seclusion kicked out every other race wanting to participate, including Asian Americans. Accepting rejection, the Asian community took a stand and held their own event called Nisei week. Nisei week is similar to the beauty pageant, but for the Asian community. Asian women...
