I’ve been infatuated with someone more times than I can count. Almost every time I thought I was so in love with that person. I was so wrong every time. I thought that those feelings had to mean something more than just a strong physical attraction, but they weren’t. A few times I got my heart broken because I was trying to make more out of it than what was there and other times I would wake up and realize that there were absolutely no feelings left. When your significant other makes you angry it’s easy to find comfort with someone else. You become infatuated with this person because they tell you everything you want to hear. My mom always taught me that the grass isn’t any greener on the other side and as an adult I finally understand what it means. Relationships are always good in the beginning, but as they progress the newness wears off and that’s when things become difficult.
