In the short story, The Pedestrian by Ray Bradbury takes place in 2053, where no human beings ever go outside of their house walking like Mr. Mead unless there is an emergency situation. This story offers an opportunity to view how people at the time were inactive, and walking around the city is seeing as a crime. The technologies that we created are slowly rule over our human, making people to be lack in empathy, and isolation instead of us benefiting from the technology devices. People are starting to shows no understand or feeling of ones because of technology when the police questioning Mr. Mead about why he is walking alone, he says, “Walking for air, walking to see…And there is air in your house, you have an air conditioner, Mr. Mead?”
