Ray Kurzweil
Ray Kurzweil was born February 12, 1984 in New York City. Ray knew at young age that he wanted to be a scientist or inventor. His family lived in Germany until Hitler came and they moved to New York City. His dad was a musician and a composer. His mother was a visual artist. When Ray Kurzweil grew up he went to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. When Ray graduated college he developed a powerful optical character recognition (OCR). It was the first program to be able to read any of the physical type faces in use in publishing. In 1984 his music company came out with their first instrument, the Kurzweil 250. In 1990 he sold his music company and published his first book, “The age of intelligent machines”. Ray Kurzweil
