Neil Harbisson, self-proclaimed cyborg is standing on the platform at the TED Global Conference 2012 in Edinburgh, Scotland in quite a colorful ensemble with something that looks like a microphone attached to his head. This immediately captures my attention and I start wondering where this is going to go. Harbisson is both human and machine. He was born with a rare optical condition called achromatopsia, which means he is completely color blind. He has never seen color and his world is in grayscale.
