...Reading Response Essay At the beginning of the semester when the reading responses were assigned, I really did not know what to expect or how to do any of them. As the semester went on, I slowly figured out how to improve my work on these reading responses. Some of the responses were pointless I thought but others were helpful. No matter how many reading response assignments we had on quotes and citations, I never one hundred percent understood how to do them until I kept on putting them into my work as the semester went on. Those assignments helped me gain a better understanding on how to use quotes and when to use them. This will come handy in classes in the future. The reading responses that aimed towards bibliographies helped tremendously. It allowed me to practice my work so that I knew how to do it correctly when writing papers and not have to look it up or use a special website to help me every time.
