Real Time Earthquakes

The patterns that I observed I’ve noticed that the majority of earthquakes occur along the shorelines of California all the way to the coast of Washington. There are some small amounts of seismic activity in the central part of the United States and also on the eastern shore of the United States. Most of their earthquakes range up 6 to 8 on the scale. These earthquakes occur along the Pacific coast and continue southward along the Pacific coast and North along the Pacific coast. According to the map, there are a few states in the northern region that don’t see any seismic activity including parts of Texas and Florida.
Looking at the map currently I live at El Paso, TX and it shows it in the 8-16 area that is susceptible to an earthquake, but in the zone where my home of record is located, the state of California they are more susceptible in having big major earthquakes for example; the San Francisco earthquake in 1989. The earthquake zone for that area is shaded in with the red and orange which the highest in the scale. According to the data from USGS, in the past 7 days the State of California recorded 207 earthquakes.
Earthquakes happen around the world on a daily basis in Japan, South America, and other regions of the world. Most of the earthquakes appear along the western coast of the United States and in different parts of the ocean. Patterns also show a lot of the earthquakes that occur in the world are on or near a fault line so of course, earthquake activity is going to be constant.
I clicked on one of the regions on the map. The one I clicked was Magnitude of 3.0; Region 10 km SE of Prague, Oklahoma.
I would be willing and would not mind at all to live in any of the red areas associated earthquake activities. You could I became costumed to the earthquakes since originally I’m from California. It does not other as much because I know what to do. I know the red zone is considered to be known for high magnitude earthquakes. I really feel comfortable staying and living in a red area.
The USGS has resources on their website that are very helpful for earthquake preparedness. The web site has information of what supplies my family would need after a major earthquake. Also it tells and shoes what to do and see what kind of damage to look out like gas lines or water lines. Knowing what to do after an earthquake and during is important because perhaps this could the best way to prepare my family for any earthquake or any other disaster. Practicing an evacuation plan will be a good idea that way every family member will be ready and safe.

The most destructive earthquakes on the list from what I saw are as follows;
2012/04/11,08:38,2.311,93.063,8.6,Off the west coast of northern Sumatra 2011/03/11,05:46,38.322,142.369,9.0,Near the East Coast of Honshu, Japan The two most recent earthquakes from are as follows; 44km NW of Nuku`alofa, Tonga, 4.8 Mag 112km ESE of Pondaguitan, Philippines, 4.6 Mag With all of this information and data, it tells that scientist and researchers have come a long on how to predict earthquakes more efficiently. As time goes new technology gets developed which it makes easier and easier to predict where and when an earthquake is going to strike. A key goal of earthquake research is to increase the reliability of earthquake probabilities this process is carry out by scientists by studying the history of big earthquakes in a precise area and the rate at which tension build up in the rock this is done in order to determine the future likelihood of similar large shocks.
Researchers would probably have access to such tools as seismometers, which measures ground movement. These devices are able to determine the size of seismic waves created by earthquakes and give scientists a better view of what is going on. The desire to learn more on how to predict earthquakes is probably on top of every scientist. By doing so it will help greatly to aid officials in helping the general population prepare for earthquakes. Growing populations cities and in urban areas are becoming a concern. That is why construction and engineers are working on ways to house and buildings to be safer and be able to withstand the power of an earthquake.
Both geological and biological energy refers to the same concept. Energy transformation, this involves the capacity to produce a change within the system. The source of the energy could probably be different.

Time Management

...Time Management Beat Work Overload. Be More Effective. Achieve More (MindTools.com) We are all aware of what time we have in our work day based on the normal 8 hour day with a 1 hour lunch. This is referred to as clock time. You can stop the hands of time is a cliché, yet the absolute truth. Real time is when you feel like you have been in a meeting for 2 days instead of 2 hours or when you feel you child was only born yesterday when they turn 12 (Entrepreneur.com). What we do with that time is often the cause of why we work more than the scheduled 8 hours. Some complain that Time Management is a waste of time in itself. However, this is proven untrue once you have a functional system in place that tracks exactly what you are doing with your time. Often following the tips that will be listed cuts away wasted time and gives you more time for creativity and production. Tip: To get use to tracking your work day actions, create a simple Time Log. Start doing this for a few days to a week. Figure 1 shows a sample time log. You want to log the time of all your actions, what category does it fall under (create a category list that fits your work), the activity, set priority for everything action then how much time was spent. The way to calculate where time is wasted is to compare the minutes used to the priority. Figure 1 |Time |Category |Activity |Priority |Minutes ...

...these settings. In order to remember its settings, the PC uses a small battery powered memory called CMOS. As you perform different hardware upgrades, you might want to update the CMOS settings. When storing your PC’s hardware settings, the CMOS keeps track of the systems date and time. PC’s normally uses its CMOS settings only when it boots up. Depending on the PC type, the way to access the CMOS settings will vary. When first turning on your PC, the PC performs a self-test of the hardware components. During the self-test, the PC displays the count of its working memory. Normally, you will access your system’s CMOS settings by pressing a specific set of keys for example DEL, EXS, CTRL-ALT-ENTER, CTRL-ALT-INS, CTRL-ALT-ESC. But like I said it will vary. If the PC starts successfully, you can normally ignore the PC’s CMOS settings. However, if you add memory to your system or install a new or different disk drive, you may need to update a CMOS setting. Depending on your system type, you may be able to use a CMOS setting to password protect your system. When you assign a password to your system in this way, your system will require you to type in a password each time it starts. If...

Advanced Accounting

...the same time, but on the other hand, those same files will soon be out of date and remain un-updated until the next group updated, creating a time lag (Chaffey, 2004). The time lag occurs between the time of the actual event and when it is recorded and imputed into the system. For example, batch processing is often used with pay-roll systems because the information only needs to be updated at the set intervals of the pay cycles, and does not need to be opened up other than that time. Real-time systems are a little bit different, because they do not process information together in groups but they process transaction as they occurs, keeping files updated constantly, eliminating the time lag. Real time systems are used when information may need to be accessed and updated at any given time (Chaffey, 2004). For example, a sales order processing system would work better with real-time processing. This would enable information to be accessed at any given time, allowing customer’s questions to be answered immediately, and not have to wait until the next time the information is updated for an accurate answer (Chaffey, 2004). Resource use is one characteristic used to distinguish between batch and real-time systems. Batch processing is usually preferred when looking at it from this aspect because it requires the use of fewer resources than real time systems (Chaffey, 2004). It requires fewer resources such as programmer time, computer time, hardware, and user training. Real-time systems...
