Cordialmente

But getting an outstanding reference letter is entirely within your control and easier than you think, even if you don't have a benevolent benefactor at your back. Here are three tips to ensure your mentor, former boss, or academic counselor writes you a rave review: 1. Highlight their qualifications 2. Provide a template 3. Offer a "no questions asked" policy Let's look at each of these individually: Highlight their Qualifications When reaching out to ask for a letter of reference, explain up front and center why it is that you value that person's opinion and respect their professional expertise enough so that you chose them (of all people) to vouch for you in your...

I have been in Ricquard Rich life for all of his 21 years. I have seen Ricquard Richard grow from a child to a wonderful young man. I know him to be a hard working, fun loving, responsible & dependable young man. He has showed dedication in his position with Logistic’s Supply. I am aware of the events regarding Ricquard’s guilty plea, and I am aware of what has transpired. I truly believe that Ricquard has already suffered extensively for his actions. I believe he is truly despondent regarding what he has put his family through. Ricquard, comes from a very hard working family. His mom, dad and grandparents are hardworking people and have done everything to raise this young man. Ricquard knows this and I know firsthand he is deeply sorry for his actions. I believe that extended jail time will be difficult for his family as well as himself. Ricquard is a child who has never been in trouble, he has never been in a situation like this. It is my fear that being in an environment like this with other criminals will only make him worse. Honorable Judge Michael Ryan, I respectfully ask that you grant Ricquard Rich a sentence of Probation or at least the lowest possible sentence . I believe that in looking forward, taking a set back like jail time, is not going to help in him become a...

As a Charge Nurse I am very reliant on her to help me keep things running smoothly during our 12 hour shift. The ER clerks have a multitude of responsibilities including answering all incoming phone calls, ensuring paperwork for patient admissions and transfers are complete, finding placement for Baker Act Patients, keeping an accurate log of all ER patients, ensuring incoming EMS personnel have the proper documentation for patients. More recently they have been trained to do EKG’s, finger stick glucose checks, urine pregnancy tests, transporting inpatient’s to their rooms, bringing triage patient’s to an ER bed and preparing recently vacated rooms for the next patient. Brenda had the added responsibility of ordering supplies for the ER. She made up the ordering list including the par levels, would retrieve the order from our Central Supply then put the items away. She is also the training clerk for any new staff and has a very easy to follow instruction printout for new staff as well as the nurse’s when we are without a clerk. Brenda’s attention to detail is an asset our department, when she is not there I realize just how much she really does for the department. Just having enough copies of necessary paperwork and office supplies, work orders put in and followed up on to mention...

...and formulas, will be automatically entered into the formula bar as well. 2. Labels and values both refer to data entered into cells in an Excel worksheet. However, they differ in that labels are texts entries whereas values are number or formula entries. 3. A series of # signs means that the number entered into the cell was wider than the column permitted. This can be resolved by resizing the column with to show the entire number and removing the # signs. 4. Changing column width or row height is a very easy task in Excel. The user can place the mouse pointer between the gray area of the columns containing letter headings, click, and drag the column left or right to expand or reduce its size. The same can be done for rows, but the user must drag up or down to resize the row height. Another neat feature is that if the user double clicks in the gray area between letters, the column size will automatically adjust to fit the largest data entry. Furthermore, the user can automatically adjust all the rows and columns of a worksheet by clicking on the arrow in the gray box in the upper left corner and then double clicking the gray at the top between any column or row. 5. The appearance of data is controlled by applying different formats to cells. Numerous formats exist for different sets of numbers. Some useful number formats include date, comma, accounting which is used for money, and percent. 6. The Format Painter tool enables the user to essentially copy a cells number format...

Ephesians Historical Background

...Ephesians Historical Background Perry L. Julian Colorado Christian University Ephesians Historical Background We must understand Ephesus if we want to understand the Book of Ephesians. Ephesus was a large prosperous city in Asia Minor. One of the seven wonders of the world was in Ephesus. It was a large temple dedicated to a goddess named Diana (Artemis). The temple and streets were lined with immoral goddess prostitutes. It was a very wicked city and immorality flourished and flooded over into society and families. Paul was clever in using the concepts of holiness, service, and temple to reveal the power of the Gospel in how it creates a new people born of God dedicated to His holy purposes. While Paul was imprisoned on house arrest around 60-62 AD he wrote what has been called the prison epistles. While imprisoned he wrote Colossians, Philemon, Philippians and Ephesians. In Duvall & Hays (2012) on page 135 it says, “We study the historical-cultural background of the Bible because God chose to speak first to ancient peoples living in cultures that are radically different from our own. As we recapture the original context of God’s Word, we will be able to grasp its meaning and apply that meaning to our lives. In the NIV Study Bible (2011) on page 1983 it says, “Having explained God’s great goals for the church, Paul proceeds to show the steps toward their fulfillment. First, God has reconciled individuals to himself as an act of grace (2:1-10). Second, God has reconciled...

Feduni-General-Guide-to-Referencing-2014

...by the due date. This guide has been written especially for you, new and returning Federation University Australia (FedUni) students, to demystify referencing and provide numerous practical examples of when and how referencing should be used in your writing at FedUni. As you study, you’ll come to understand that referencing is just a set of rules that you need to follow to adequately acknowledge the work and thinking of others in your assignments. These rules are important because they allow your teachers to decide whether you’ve demonstrated that you understand the topic at hand and show that you have completed the assignment yourself. If you ignore the requirements to reference source materials in your assignment, your teacher may decide you have committed ‘plagiarism’. This means you have failed to reference according to the rules and in doing so, not demonstrated that you have used the work of others in your work. Plagiarism is a very serious matter that can result in unpleasant consequences for your studies and career. So please take the time to understand the advice we have prepared for you in this guide. Referencing is not just about following the rules; it also provides an elegant and powerful way to add weight to your arguments. Your opinions and conclusions will create more impact if they are supported by leading researchers and writers in your field. Continually improving these skills as you continue your studies will serve you well...
