Guest Speaker Reflection 2
I enjoyed the Speech that Hannah gave about her product Seven Sundays, and how she got the idea to create it from scratch and launch a new product in the food market.
Hannah first came out with the idea when she traveled to New Zeeland for her honeymoon and felt an enormous difference between New York’s lifestyle where she used to work back in 2009 and in New Zeeland.
Hannah’s vision is passion, she seemed very into making muesli. When she got the idea she wrote a business plan and had the exclusive recipe of muesli ready to be launched in America. She sees her business as a solution to an everyday problem which is having a good breakfast that’s why she named the product ‘’Seven Sundays’ ‘to refer to the fact of having a good breakfast on Sundays generally.
Hannah and her husband loved to have Muesli for their breakfast because it contains many important nutritional ingredients.
Hannah was also passionate about cooking and trying new recipes, she started making Muesli from her friend’s restaurant kitchen. Finding support from friends and family is one of the most important things that made the couple believe in their business and start launching it.
As an entrepreneur, I liked how Hannah gave us 5 golden advice and lessons learned from her own experience. She mentioned that starting a business is very expensive and necessitate saving money especially at the beginning. She believes that telling at least 10 people the business idea and observe their reaction is very helpful for the entrepreneur to test the feasibility of the idea through people’s reaction.
Hannah became very successful when Target decided to have her product in their stores all over the U.S. The sales grew up significantly thanks to targeting in the previous years.
I was so inspired by this guest and was surprised how a little everyday product,

When He Was Bad

...“It doesn‟t have to be complicated. You and me and a mutual attraction. It doesn‟t come much simpler than that.” “Good times—is that all you‟re about?” Ellie shook her head. “Of course you are. Men like you always are.” “Men like me?” “Arrogant, ego as wide as the blue Aussie sky. Always looking out for number one.” Matt studied her. The telltale blush, the sparkle in those eyes, the way her fingers played over the back of the chair. “You‟re a contradiction, do you realize that? You say you don‟t want complicated, yet you‟re rejecting simple. What do you want, Ellie Rose?” Her mouth tightened and she swept to the door, yanked it open. Then she turned and glared back at him. “With you, Matt McGregor? Nothing. I just want to be left alone.” When not teaching or writing, ANNE OLIVER loves nothing more than escaping into a book.
