Working to finish our Community Change Initiative project, Austin and I stayed up through the night; meanwhile, our other group members were in bed. I was angry. Everyone would end up receiving the same credit, Austin and I were exhausted, and the situation just wasn’t fair. Rather than lashing out at my peers, though, I remained levelheaded and asked that we all meet the next day. There, I first asked if my peers were ok, because I wanted to ensure that I was being considerate of potentially unforeseen circumstances. I then expressed my concern that each of us wasn’t contributing equally to our project. They agreed.
