There are those who are supportive of the idea and then there are those who are strongly opposed to renewable energy efforts. Individuals who encourage renewable energy typically make a good argument about our fossil fuel shortage, harmful gases, and pollution caused by fossil fuels. They declare that renewable energy is “clean energy”. However, those opposed to renewable energy also make a convincing argument on their behalf. They claim that renewable energy is a great expense we cannot afford, it requires a large amount of land, and causes environmental damage. I have always been “pro” renewable energy.
