Description of Suave Advertising LLC
My name is Kimberly Garcia and I am a manager at Suave Advertising LLC. We are a small local company downtown who has recently hired a group of 20 representatives for our staff. Suave Advertising (SA) is a fairly new company to the area and we are training our staff on the company procedures and their roles as Advertising Specialists. Our staff has extensive sales backgrounds; however we would like their skills in Microsoft Office programs to be on a higher level of expertise. Our company creates and sells ad campaigns for in state businesses; however we would like to expand our client base to all around the country. Therefore, not only do our Advertising Specialists need to have excellent sales experience, they must also have the knowledge how to work with Microsoft Office programs.
Company Goals
As stated previously, Suave Marketing is looking to expand our current sales market. We have over two dozen in state clients at the present time and we plan to expand to our surrounding states within the next six months. Then we will continue to expand to the entire west side of the country, and then make our way east. The staff we just hired on must be trained and pass a computer test before they are assigned to projects. We hope your company can assist us in the training aspect for Microsoft Office programs because we use these programs for most of our projects.
Introduction to the Project
Our representatives must learn these programs because they will be responsible for filling out sales order forms, customer invoices, tracking logs, and creating their own Power Point slide shows for their clients.
Project Goals
The company has templates for all of these documents, however in the test they will be required to create their own documents similar to the company templates. The only thing that we will request of our staff is to be creative and unique when creating their Power Point presentation for a product they will be selling. We ask for this to be done by them for a variety of reasons. The main reason is because although we offer a general presentation for each of our products, we allow our representatives to find their own sales creativity in this area. We encourage our employees to create their own product presentation that suites their style of selling. This is a very effective method and we find our employees to enjoy the freedom. Once their presentation is approved by a manager, they are authorized to present it in sales meetings with potential clients.
Timeframe to Complete Training
We are looking for a company that can keep within our training period. This period is a total of 10 business days. They do not complete any sales, or speak to any potential clients until their training courses are successfully complete. We believe 10 business days would not only give our staff the time they need to learn all the features Microsoft Office has to offer, but also have time to practice before attempting the creation of company templates and/or presentations.
Project Budget If you would please include a fee description with your submitted proposal, we can work out a price we can both be comfortable with. We would prefer to pay per hour the trainer is working with our staff versus a set fee per employee per day. This eliminates any question as to how many employees attended each day of the training to know how much that day of training costs. Another reason is if we pay per hour of training, we would know what to expect to pay prior to the class beginning rather than waiting to see if everyone shows up to the class.
Description of the Needed Training
To complete these tasks, they will need to learn Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Power Point. We need trainers to train our staff in these programs. We would like them to learn about all the features they can take advantage of to make their projects look high quality and professional. They must be able to work their way around each of the programs with ease, speed, and accuracy. * In Microsoft Word, our staff must be able to make changes to font, paragraph settings, insert tables and pictures, use the Quick Parts feature by using Microsoft Excel, page layout, mailings, and the review features. * In Microsoft Excel, our staff must be able to use the basic features and formulas. * In Microsoft Power Point, our staff must be able to use the basic features, in addition to features that will enhance their presentation to make it look sharp, professional, and have a good flow from slide to slide.
Desired Qualifications
We would like the trainer to be certified in training for these programs and have at least 3 years of professional experience with these programs. Please provide us with at least five references from other companies who have used your training service with the trainer we would be assigned with.
Submitting a Proposal Please document your proposal in Microsoft word and be sure to include all the information we have requested in addition to a background on your company and trainers.
