Writing Assignment

(1)We need to find one or two children’s hospitals. Living in a remote area like I do, the small hospitals do not have long term children in them. (2) We will need to get permission to talk to who we need to. (3)Deciding what each team member will be doing. I would be better that only one or two people talking to the children instead of the whole team. We will need to make sure we “do no harm” to the children that fall into this category. We need to “be open” with who we talk to and do research on, which is also the children. We need to “be honest” with everyone we talk to. It may be hard to talk to terminal children in long term hospital care
We would be able to look up children’s hospitals by the internet. When we find a hospital we should ask if we can visit it for our research. At this time we could ask how many children are in long term care. Be open and be honest.
Once we are at the hospital we will get the permission to talk to the children from the parents, doctors, and nurses. We well be open and honest with these people.
Once we get the Okays, the person or persons will ask the children about why they are there, and what their experience at being there are. We may want to talk to the child’s nurse for some information on the circumstances. In doing this we are to make sure we “do no harm” to the children we talk to.
