The word Bachata means a party or social gathering. This is because it was originally associated with the parties in the homes of Santo Domingo. Bachata is a style Dominicano, with Cuba and Caribbean. He was born and grew up among the poorer social classes, in this case Dominican Republic, since 1920 onwards. Bachata is a dance inspired by the Bolero, a genre of music Latin tempo slow, and the basic step of the traditional Bachata is very similar to the Bolero. The original Dominican style is the style early slow since the 1950s where moved in a square pattern.
