Executive Summary
As United Parcel Service (UPS) grows to be the largest package delivery carriers in the United States, new vehicles are delivered daily to multiple mechanics to make sure that all packages are delivered in a timely manner. However, there has not been an increase in the employees being hired in the Automotive Department. The workload has increased with the expansion of the business. To ensure maximum productivity and profit, we must make sure that all vehicles are properly maintained. Ensuring the safety of drivers is most important and to do that we must make sure that the mechanics utilized properly as well.
The Automotive Department is key in the success of the business. In order to make sure that each level of employees understands the overall mission of the department I conducted a research report. The report contains interviews from our mechanics and supervisors about their current feelings on working towards the company.
