SANDIGAN SA PAG-AARAL

A. Introduksyon

Ang paaralan ay isang lugar na kung saan tayo ay natututo, nahahasa, nagkakaroon ng mas malawak na impormasyon at nagiging edukado. Dito rin napaghuhusay ng isang estudyante ang kaniyang kagalingan at potensyal sa akademiko, pakikisalamuha sa kaniyang kapwa, pagkakaroon ng pagpapahalaga sa kaniyang sarili; malaman at mas mapabuti ang mga talento at kakayahan ng isang indibidwal sa pamamagitan ng pagsali sa iba’t-ibang organisasyon o mas kilala sa tawag na extra curricular activities.

Ang extra curricular activities ay isang gawain na hindi saklaw ng kurikulum ng isang paaralan o unibersidad. Ito ay binuo para sa kasiyahan at partikular na layunin ng mga nagsagawa nito na kadalasang kinabibilangan ng iba’t-ibang grupo. Ito ay maaaring isang organisasyon ng mga estudyante, atletismo, akademiko at propesyonal na organisasyon, mga aktibidad na may kinalaman sa pagboboluntaryo at serbisyo, mga pang-kulturang gawain, sining, at iba pang organisasyon o samahan na tumutulong na mapagbuti at mapaghusay ng mga estudyante ang kanilang talento at kakayahan na kanilang tinataglay.

Sinasabing mahalaga ang pagsali sa mga ganitong klase ng gawain sapagkat, nadedebelop o nalilinang ang talento at kakayahan ng isang indibidwal, nagkakaroon ng libangan at interes sa isang bagay o higit pa, pakikipagkaibigan o pakikisama sa ibang tao, pagkakaroon ng iskolarship, at madalas na pagkakaroon ng insentibo mula sa mga guro upang mas tumaas ang marka ng isang estudyante. Gayunpaman, ang pagsali sa ganitong mga gawain ay may kaakibat ding mga pagsubok at suliranin na nagdudulot ng masama kung hindi magagawang balansehin o hatiin ng isang estudyante ang kanyang oras at mga tungkulin ng maayos at wasto.

Ang nagtulak sa mananaliksik na aralin ang paksang ito ay upang aming malaman at mabigyan ng sapat at wastong kaalaman o dagdag impormasyon ang mga estudyante na naglalayong sumali sa iba’t ibang extra curricular activities na kung saan ay maaaring magdulot ng maganda o kaya naman ay masamang epekto sa kani-kanilang pang-akademikong kasanayan.

Ang pananaliksik na ito ay naglalayong malaman ang mga epekto ng extra curricular activities sa kasanayang pang-akademiko ng mga estudyante sa pamamagitan ng pagsagot ng mga respondante sa mga katanungan ng mga mananaliksik.

B. Suliranin

Ang mananaliksik ay naglalayong matugunan ang mga sumusunod na katanungan:

1. Bakit nahikayat ang mga estudyante sa pagsali sa extra curricular activities?

2. Ano ang naging epekto ng pagsali sa mga extra curricular activities sa pag-aaral ng mga estudyante?

3. Sa paanong paraan binabalanse ng mga estudyante ang kanilang oras?

C. Layunin

Ang mananaliksik ay naglalayong matugunan ang mga sumusunod na layunin:

1. Mailahad kung paano nahikayat ang mga estudyante sa pagsali sa extra curricular activities.

2. Matukoy ang epekto ng pagsali ng mga estudyante sa mga extra-curricular activities.

3. Malaman kung paano binabalanse ng mga estudyante ang kanilang oras.

D. Kahalagahan ng Pag-aaral

Ang anumang pag-aaral na pinagbuhusan ng panahon ay mayroong kaakibat na kahalagahan hindi lamang sa makakabasa nito kung hindi maging sa gumawa ng pag-aaral.

Estudyante:

Sila ay makakatanggap ng pangunahing impormasyon at insentibo kasama na din ang suporta sa kanyang sarili, nahuhubog din ang kanilang mga sarili sa pamamagitan ng pagsali sa mga extra-curricular activities. Isa pa, mas nagkakaroon sila ng tiwala sa sarili at natututo silang magkaroon ng magandang pakikisama sa ibang tao o pakikipagkaibigan. Bukod pa rito, sila’y nagiging popular o tanyag dahil sa kanilang pagsali sa mga kompetisyon.

Puno ng organisasyon:

Sila ay nabibigyan ng pagkilala dahil sa mga estudyanteng nanalo sa mga kompetisyon na kasapi sa kanilang organisasyon. Isa pa, sila ay nagkakaroon ng magandang samahan sa ibang tao at mas tumataas ang tingin ng ibang tao sa kanila dahil sa mahusay na pagtuturo nila sa mga estudyante.

Magulang:

Ang extra-curricular activities ay malaki ang naitutulong sa kanila. Sila ay nagkakaroon ng diskwento sa matrikula sa paaralan, bukod pa dito, ang karangalan na makukuha ng kanilang pamilya ay dahil sa nakakamtang tagumpay ng kanilang mga anak na nagiging tagumpay na din ng buong pamilya.

Unibersidad:

Ang tagumpay ng mga estudyante ay tagumpay din ng paaralan o unibersidad na kanilang pinapasukan sapagkat, nirerepresenta nila ito sa tuwing sila ay lumalaban sa iba’t-ibang paaralan. Ang bawat parangal at tagumpay na nakakamtan ng mga estudyante ay kumakatawan at nagrereplek din sa kanilang unibersidad.

Sa Mananaliksik:

Ang kahalagahan ng pag-aaral nito sa kanila ay ito ang magsisilbing gabay nila sa mga susunod nilang pananaliksik. Ang mga magiging kasagutan o mga impormasyon na kanilang makakalap mula sa kanilang mga respondante ay maaari nilang gamitin bilang basehan kung sila ay maging interesado din na sumali sa mga extra curricular activities.

E. Saklaw at Delimitasyon

Ang pag-aaral na ito ay limitado lamang sa mga piling estudyante ng Wesleyan University-Philippines na kasali sa iba’t ibang organisasyon sa unibersidad na ito.

Ito ay isinagawa sa taong panuruan 2015-2016 ng ikalawang semestre.

F. Depinisyon ng mga Termino

Agham- nanggaling sa salitang siyensya na ibig sabihin ay kaalaman, ito ang kaalaman na nakukuha sa pamamagitan ng pag-aaral o pagsasagawa.

Atletismo- paggamit ng isang tao ng kanyang pisikal na lakas at kapasidad sa isang laro; kasapi ang mga taong mabuti o mahilig sa iba’t-ibang laro.

Extra Curricular Activities- mga ekstrang gawain na pang-edukasyon na hindi saklaw ng regular na kurikulum ng paaralan o ng isang unibersidad.

Insentibo- isang bagay na nagtutulak o nag-uudyok sa isang estudyante na gawin ang isang bagay dahil ito ay makatutulong sa kaniya.

Iskolarship- ito ay binibigay parangal sa isang estudyante bilang tulong sa pinansyal o mga bayarin sa paaralan upang mapaglawak pa ang kaniyang pag-aaral.

Kasanayang Pang-akademiko- ito ang kinalabasan ng paggawa sa pag-aaral na kung saan ang isang estudyante ay natapos ng gawin ang kanyang layunin.

Kurikulum- ito ay tumutukoy sa mga aralin na itinuturo sa isang paaralan upang mahubog ang mga kaalaman at kasanayan ng isang estudyante; pwede rin itong kurso na iniaalok ng mga eskwelahan at unibersidad sa mga estudyante.

Organisasyon- ito ay grupo ng mga tao na may gustong maipakita ang kanilang mga kakayahan at talento sa ibang tao.

Pamanahong papel- ito ay isang uri ng papel na pampananaliksik na karaniwang ipinagagawa sa mga estudyante sa kolehiyo bilang isa sa mga pangangailangan sa isang larangang akademiko; tinatawag din itong term paper.

Respondante- sila ang mga taong naglalahad ng mga impormasyon at sumasagot sa mga katanungan na isinasagawa ng mga mananaliksik.

Sining- ito tumutukoy sa mga malilikhaing gawa ng mga tao; kinapapalooban din ito ng iba’t-ibang sangay o uri tulad ng pag-sayaw, pagkanta, pag-arte, at iba pa.

Wesleyan University-Philippines- ito ay isang sikat na pribadong unibersidad sa ikatlong rehiyon. Nagmula ang pangalan nito kay John Wesley, ang nagtatag ng relihiyong Methodismo. Ang unibersidad na ito ay matatagpuan sa lungsod at probinsya ng Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija na naitatag noong taong 1946.
