...Crowded Restaurant Every weekend I like to spend time with my family. We like to sit in a quiet place and talk about what we done for the week. We prefer to eat lunch together but not in the restaurant. I don't like to go to restaurant in the weekend because it is very crowded and not comfortable. The restaurant from outside crowded, the service is bad and nuisance of people. When we look for the restaurant from outside it is so beautiful but the crowded with people disguised the nice view. The parking area is full of cars. There is no empty place for our car. Also the cars not moved all people waiting for empty parking. Suddenly we heard noise that happened accident between two cars. That crowded make us feel bad to enter the restaurant. When we enter the restaurant we wait a long time to get our empty table. Then we will wait the waiter to bring the food menu maybe he take about 20 minutes to come with the menu. Also after all this waiting to get the menu we will wait him to get the order. Thereafter we waste all our time in aimless talk because we are waiting our dishes. Finally, after we are tired of waiting the dishes brought but not all dishes some of them do not finish yet. Some of as they eat their dishes however the other still wait. When the half of us finish eating the other dishes come to others. All this waiting because the service is very slow. People around us full of energy. Kids play with fork and spoon by hitting it on the table...

...Geog 140 10/27/2015 Group 11 Ethnic Restaurant I have been always want to try different Ethnic fooda, because I believe that trying different foods can always be a great advanture to me. To me, Korean food is very unique .But my expeience with Korean food was rare. So I Google lincoln’s best korean restaurant, and then I found Yami Korean Cuisine. It was like 15 minuntes drive distance from campus, which was not too bad. I have friend who recommend this place to me before, she said the Galbi Short Ribs are really good. I ordered the Dolsot Bibimbap, which is a bibimbap prepared in sizzing hot stone bowl. On the menu, it introduced that bibimbap is “steamed rice with beef, sauted mushroom, spinach, carrot, zucchini, bean sprouts, and onion. Topped with fried egg and served with hot pepper sauce. ”. I did not like the flavor of carrot so I asked a Dolsot Bibimbap without carrot in it. The dish got different colors from the vegetables and meat, which made it looked really nice. The waitress told me stird all the ingredients together, so it is basiclly like a korean mixed rice. The Dolsot, which is the hot stone pot, keeps cooking the rice even after the dish was served. I thought it was interesting and new to me. In Chinese food, we have the dishes called Xiang Guo, which is a hot pot has fire under it to keeps on cooking while serving. But in Korean food, they made the Dolsot very hot and use the heat from the pot itself to cook. So always be careful with it...

...In introduces the COO Scott, from Barcelona Restaurant group who states he had to define a philosophy , He figured the more he say it the more he preaches it and the more people he hires and tell that to eventually that will happen and he states he think they are getting there three years later. COO Scotts said s that Human resources is one of the most important things they do in their business, because he feels you can’t train people to be enthusiastic, nice, fun, great people. He said you have to hire that. And he says in doing it this way people are constantly moving. He feels the minute you stop looking that’s when you sliding backwards when it comes to progressing, it is a hiring and firing business. COO Scotts talks about in the last three years maybe one or two mangers actually quit, however they have turned over 60% to 70% of management. They demanded a high level of quality and are not afraid to let anyone go. He feels that you need to continue give your best and in this business you can get burned out easily, because they have run into situations where people started out great and they had to let them go because they burnout. During this transition, they realize judging an applicant’s work attitude is no easy task. However they use a three stage recruitment process. By the end of the process Scott will either possess the necessary intelligence and skills to run a restaurant or they don’t. In closing, Scott was asked would he hire himself and stated he doesn’t...

...Larry Gary Professor Graham Engl 1101 TR 5:00-6:15 7 February 2013 My Favorite Restaurant As a child, I wasn’t fond of eating out. During the early 1960s, where racial segregation was still Prevalent in the south and spending time in public places presented a high challenge for African- Americans. Severely hampered by socioeconomic barriers, our choices for leisure, recreation, and entertainment was limited, particularly in restaurants. Every time we went anywhere, something would happen to illustrate the fact that we were not welcomed, but for a little place called Helen’s 2 Spot. I loved the place and this made my parents love it too. The place seemed so magical and fascinating to me then, when I was still an elementary school kid, and surprisingly, the place still very much fascinates me today. Just recently, when I went back to my hometown of Florence, S.C. for Thanksgiving, I was surprised to find out that the place still operated, and in fact, was run by the same family. Apart from the house in which I grew up, Helen’s 2 Spot is probably the dearest little place to me in town. What is so special about this place? It’s hard to answer in just a few words. First of all, Helen’s, as we all like to call it, is a small cozy house in the outskirts, with not one indication, even a sign, that would tell you from its outer appearance that would tell you that it is a restaurant. This is what probably earned my love in the first place; this and the people who worked...

...Introduction: Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd university is an upcoming university. With that being said, it is still in the process of improvement and setting roots to become one of the strongest universities out here. One of the ways of improvement is to have a good dining system. Sadly, the location of the university is quite far from the city and no near restaurants to make it easier for the girls to go out and have a proper meal. So, it’s a struggle for the girls of PMU to find alternative restaurants than the one that is currently provided on campus. In this study, it shows how opening Chili’s at PMU can be beneficial. Students can be more focused and productive due to having a proper meal. Chili’s is a highly known restaurant, especially in Saudi. Having chili’s on campus would make their lives easier and would look make them happier to see that the university is listening to what they wants and coming up with solutions to make all students happy. My expectation about this study is to help PMU improve their system and show them how this study can be beneficial for the university not only for the students, but also can be profitable. Literature Review During my research, I found a similar case in the University of Western Sydney when they open a restaurant in Parramatta campus. They claim that opening a restaurant on campus, it is a perfect place for corporate lunches or catching up with friends. In our case, this shows that opening a Chili’s could be very beneficial...

...McDonald’s marketing strategy is the foundation of its organizational strategy and its success. Its marketing mix and strategy are key elements for the organization achieving its mission and goals, which involve improving on its strengths and addressing any weaknesses. McDonald’s continues to keep their marketing and branding edge ahead of the pack by continuing to seek to be innovative and adapt to changing market trends to be successful. McDonald’s strategy is to increase its presence worldwide, and continue to enhance its revenue while expanding into different market segments. Changing cultural values and social forces are compelling McDonald’s to be innovative and explore different markets (Viskovich, 2009, para 6). McDonald’s now has a healthier menu, adding breakfast oatmeal, appealing to a whole new demographic. Most recently, McDonald’s launched a McCafe campaign offering comparable flavors of specialty coffees to Starbucks, but at a much lower price. The Carrot-Orange Smoothie will add to the goal of expanding into different market segments and will market very similar to the new product lines. The coupon will have an expiration date two weeks from the date of purchase. This markets to the health conscious consumer that prefers oatmeal over a biscuit, therefore...
