Electricity consumption from the five sectors (residential, commercial, transportation, industrial, and agricultural) were calculated using different models and assumptions. These values were projected to the year 2045 in order to predict the total electricity demand on the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly bases. There is an average of 262.28 MW demand from the computed consumptions which was translated to fuel requirements considering the existing, upcoming, decommissioning, and the reserve. A total of 284.77 MW plant capacity was calculated for 2045. Introduction: The objective of this paper is to examine the techniques related to incremental technological innovation in light of its advantages and disadvantages. Many studies focus on techniques of speeding up the cycle of product design. However, the fastest and most effective way to speed up the introduction of a product is to execute an incremental improvement – to an existing produce - that could serve a new and particular need. On the other side of the spectrum, there is what is called the megaproject. A project that starts out with over-the-top ambitious objectives, it requires almost extraordinary effort to accomplish, it demands enormous financial budgets, it typically runs over time and misses many deadlines, and at the end, few examples make a splash and many are written as “tax deductions”. While these heroic projects make good news stories, they do not always make money. They can fail very dramatically and expensively. Since these failures do not make such good new stories, we hear less about them, and overestimate the success rate of megaprojects. We underestimate the importance and value of incremental programs and mislead ourselves about the true risk of the megaproject. We need to look more carefully at these two approaches. An operational version of KPS, at a weekly level of detail, helps determine where products are produced and how finished products and in-process products are shipped between plants and distribution centers. A tactical version of KPS, at a monthly level of detail, helps to establish plant budgets and make capacity-expansion and consolidation decisions. Operational KPS reduced production, inventory, and distribution costs by an estimated $4.5 million in 1995.
