I read the book The 5th Wave by Rick yancey for my book in the category multiple versions because this book was made into a movie. This book is about a teenage girl named Cassie who lives an ordinary life. She goes to school, plays sports, and has friends. But that was before the wave hit. It was sudden and no one could prepare for it. Before you could recover another wave hit, and then another, and then another. Cassie finds herself alone in the woods without her family, friends, and without hope of any kind. What are the waves? Cassie believes that the others, or the aliens from above, are wiping out the human race so they can have planet Earth all to themselves. But Cassie promised to protect her brother and she will keep that promise.
