...Posse Ride After enduring the challenges offered on the long road of the Posse ride, and becoming close with the riders, it is clear that H.O.G’s rolling rallies provide much more than mere marketing opportunities. They provide a sense of family among old friends and new acquaintances, all with the same love of the road. For many people an ideal vacation is going on a cruise or taking a trip to a warm Caribbean get away, but for the dedicated H.O.G. members the road is their vacation. Even the presence of the whole family can be seen on H.O.G.’s rolling rallies. When looking at the three fundamental purposes for the creation of Harley Owners Group in the 80’S, it is easy to see that rolling rallies fulfill all three. Although the presence of outlaw biker gangs has become nearly extinct today, there is still that negative stereotype that comes with the Harley. When you look at members of the Posse ride, and those of other rolling rallies for that matter, you see not a group of hardened criminals, but a group ordinary people enjoying what they love. You see a group of mostly middle age, normal working class people. This image shines new light on Harley owners, and helps dissolve stereotypes of the past. Rolling rallies have gone above and beyond in the aspect of enhancing the Harley Davidson lifestyle and experience. They give opportunity for members to experience being a Harley rider in a whole new way. Members are given the chance to challenge themselves on a long ride, to meet...

...THE RIDE OF A LIFETIME Last year, when I was still living in India something terrible happened. In India everybody in high school has a motorcycle, in the US if a teenage driver gets pulled over by a cop for speeding twenty miles per hour above the speed limit or driving with out license might end up in jail. In India there are no speed limits in cities. If a teenager gets caught by a cop speeding or driving with out license, he can get off by buying a cop a coffee or giving him $10. For me a motorcycle was something more than two wheels and metal, it was freedom for me. According to me freedom is not asking some one for a ride to school or home or on long rides beside mountains racing friends. I finally asked my mother for a motorcycle. Before I begin, I think it is important to give a little background on how I got to where I am today. As a teenager, I had a terrifying experience on a four-wheeler that led me to fear the falling off part. My cousin Sam, his girlfriend of the time, and I were riding on a four-wheeler. He decided to let her drive, and as she jerked forward attempting to take off, I fell backwards off the back. Hanging on by the bars, I could feel my head grazing the blacktop road. It caused a great deal of alarm, but I was a teenager so we continued on our way not telling anyone what had happened to avoid getting into trouble. Since then I started preferring motorcycles rather than...

...States, however, none are as exciting as Atlanta, Georgia. In Atlanta, there are many places to go and sights to see. For example, Six Flags over Georgia, Stone Mountain Park, and the Atlanta Braves Stadium, are all in or near the city of Atlanta. Six Flags Over Georgia is the largest regional theme park in the Southeast. Six Flags boasts more than 40 rides and attractions. With 11 roller coasters, 3 children's areas, 3 water rides, award-winning shows and numerous other thrill rides, a day can be spent making memories to last a lifetime. The Ninja, is my favorite. The Ninja goes up and down steep hills and even loops upside down. During the summer months, you can splash around in Skull Island, the park's huge interactive water play structure featuring dozens of water slides. My favorite water ride is Thunder River. Last year, I was lucky enough to get caught under the cool splash of the big waterfall. In October, Six Flags is transformed into a haunted theme park for Fright Fest. Halloween shows, roaming zombies and terrifying ride makeovers make Fright Fest the best Halloween experience in Atlanta! Six Flags also has water rides available to keep people cool. Six Flags also has games to play and many souvenir shops. As for the sweets, the funnel cakes are absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend Six Flags as a place to go when visiting the Atlanta area. Stone Mountain Park is another tourist attraction near Atlanta. The Park is Georgia’s most-visited attraction...

...that formed this country. Although these stories reflect real events, the truth has been stretched in some of the more famous tales. The most famous patriotic stories all contain common myths the American public believes. The signing of the Declaration of Independence, Betsy Ross’ design of the American flag, and Paul Revere’s midnight ride all contain factual inaccuracies or exaggerations. When learning American history, students typically believe that all fifty-six delegates at the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. Americans celebrate this date as Independence Day. The actual date, however, that America declared independence from England was July 2, 1776. The next couple days were spent going over the original draft written by Thomas Jefferson. The confusion of the two dates is because...

This war was also important in Patrick Henry’s life because Henry was a Founding Father so he was great measure responsible for helping setting up the war.
