She is willing to leave her one and only home to save her last egg’s life. The character that Nagaina displays in this example is quite like Rikki-tikki’s traits. In the story, Rikki-tikki is ready to give up his life for the protection of Teddy’s family and Nagaina is willing to give up anything for her egg.
