We can’t keep discrimination out of society let alone out of the death penalty so how are we to get a fair trial when there’s an injustice involved? The most common one would be discrimination against race, in 82% of studies it has shown that race will affect how a person is charged, in other studies it has shown that a white person is less likely then a black person to be stopped by the police and they also receive a much more sever punishment. We don’t just do this with race; we also discriminate based on a person’s economical status. Robert Waynettalsey was given a lawyer because he couldn’t afford one. The lawyer had no experience and was an alcoholic that would take 12 shots of rum before work everyday. Waynettalsey wasn’t given a chance
