I would have to say that based off of Rosa Clemente’s criticism of hip hop as a movement, I would have to say that she would see “Fight the Power” as a video that promotes the possibility of hip hop’s contribution to other social and political movements and the potential to transform into a movement, but she would not see “The Weapon” in this way. Clemente already does not see hip hop currently as a movement, particularly a political movement, since it does not have a unified agenda and needs people to come together to voice their opinion (“Is Hip Hop …," 2009). However, both of the music videos did possess a unified agenda, “Fight the Power” was about fighting against the government and what it has unlawfully done to lower class individuals
